There's probably some psychological term that better fits than "fantasy", but that's probably the closest choice for most mes, I think.

If you watch a movie, or read a fictional book, is that a fantasy?

Or is there a better way to describe it?

Not my thing. In between "I don't really care about it" and "I don't like it at all".

I'm leaning between "Yes" and "Undecided". Can anyone give me examples where sites display cropped thumbnails?

If there are a very few, and they offer a nice discount, then, ok, I don't mind too much. But there are some sites where it's hard to tell the ads from the site contents, and the pages get so cluttered, it's hard to navigate.

I know sites need to make money. But I already paid my membership fee, so I don't want to have to slog through a bunch of ads I don't need to see.

My guess is that most women haven't heard of the sexual revolution, where men and women are supposed to be equal. Or maybe it's because men are still stuck in the cave-man era, where only men are interested in porn.

I would think, though, that glamcore/heartcore porn would make more women interested in porn, if they come across it.

I usually look over the archived reviews.

Agree with Capn. Depends on the girl, depends on the style of glasses.

I tried a pop-blocker, and was happy at first. But then it seemed to mess up the computer somehow. I don't remember the details, but my browser (Firefox) started developing problems. So I deleted the pop-up program from my PC.

Barefoot is best. I've never gotten used to walking in high heels.

I've had good and bad responses from tech support. Mainly bad.

I am currently a member of Met-art.

I don't know whether the photo set you are referring to is still at Metart, or whether it was deleted.
If you do a search for a model named Claire at Metart, the search returns "There is no model named Claire."

Possibly she is listed under another name.

If you look at the photo sets of the photographer named "Peter Dominic", it does show there are 7 sets by him, but none of those sets have a posting date of June 14, 2003, and none of the sets have the title "Her Best Friend".

Trying to search for photo sets in the archives section (2004 and earlier) is not as simple as checking sets posted from 2005 and later.

My guess is that this set was probably at the site at one time, but was subsequently deleted, for one reason or another.

As a major softcore site, I'm sure Met-art tries to follow the age guidelines for most of the world's countries. That only makes business-sense.

After Grigori Galitsin had legal problems in Russia, all of Galitsin's photosets at Met-art were deleted, whether the models were of legal age or not.

Galitsin used to be one of the first, and main, photographers at Met-art.

I have a hard time trying to tell the age of a model, in general. And there are some models that, for years, look far younger than their actual age.

But I have deleted vids and pics where I thought the model did look too young. Not recently. But when I had a newsgroup subscription, you could download lots of material, and who knew where most of it came from, and there was very little way of knowing who some of the models were.

With pay porn sites, at least you have the assurance that they are checking on the age of the models for you.

None of the above. If I had to choose, I vote for sitting in my chair, surfing the net.

Most of the site contents are its archives. So updates are just a small part of what the site is offering.

Well designed tours can be useful, especially if they gave nice thumbnails of the site models, some indication of the site content (sample video previews, sample pictures, etc.).

But like Cybertoad stated, a good PU review gives a better idea of what the site is like, it's plus and minus points, etc.

So normally I want a PU review to check, before I join a site. Unless I think the site has some models that I really like, because I am a sucker for a pretty face.

I grew up on Playboy, so I don't mind some airbrushing. Some flaws can be distracting. And almost all women use cosmetics to increase their appeal. I don't like heavy make-up, but if you are doing a photoshoot or a video, then at least some make-up is needed for the camera, even for a "natural look".

I've seen very little fisting. To be honest, I don't even recall a single scene. Maybe I haven't really seen any.

I don't think there is one factor that is the most important. There are several factors that are important, including quality of site contents, amount of content, how easy to site is to use, update rate, price, etc.

Maybe those factors aren't strictly related to the tour pages, but the tour is only part of what decides if I want to join a site or not.

I think Cybertoad said it best: a site has to be worth the cost. It's that simple.

There are many different ways you can value a site:
Amount of content, quality of content, ease of use.

But the price of a site is definitely one of the main factors, whether it's mentioned in the review or not.

I like to read the reviews at PU to get a sense of whether the site might be worthwhile joining.

But I also like a site to have a useful public tour pages, where they show the site models, and hopefully give some preview shots of the photography and videos the site features.

The preview pages at some sites are just about worthless. No model listings, no information on the site contents, other than saying they have gorgeous models and the most exciting videos.

Is this some kind of philosophical question? I'm kind of groping in the dark, where most of the replies seem to imply the people know what the fuck is going on.

I'm wondering how many poll respondents are differentiating between MB and Mb.

1 MB = 8 Mbit

The poll asks for MB speed.

I upgraded to 17.40 Mbps recently, which is 2.175 MB/sec.

Most of the poll replies are in the 11-30 MB/sec range, which seems very high to me.

I use a different URL to test my computer, and the results seem different:

http://www.dslextreme.com/support/speedtest

Latency: 17 ms
(as far as I can tell, Ping and Latency are interchangeable terms. But maybe on a technical level there might be differences in the two terms).

Download speed: 8634 Kb/s

Upload speed: 1303 Kb/s
