"Contrast in skin tones almost like a lit up entrance sign...or a lit up airport runway."
A perfect analogy! :)

Absolutely love them! I'm not a big picture fan, but any set I find with nice, sharp tan lines WILL be saved!

You can drag that shortcut arrow below the taskbar, too. If there's a TweakUI for W7, you can fade the arrow or remove it altogether.

I don't know how any Windows beyond XP work, but I know on XP you can change the icon to anything you want. Before I had Rocketdock, I used a completely transparent icon for a desktop shortcut and dragged it down to where the name of the shortcut was below the taskbar. That way, nothing showed at all. But I knew, for instance, that the bottom right hand corner was one of my shortcuts. Super stealth mode.

I'm glad pat362 brought up the cluttered desktop. I can't stand a cluttered desktop because you always seem to be struggling to find something. I keep nothing on my desktop, even going so far as to hack the registry to hide the recycle bin. And yet, I'm going to answer the poll by saying that I *sort of* keep particular scenes on my desktop. I use a nice little (and FREE!) program called Rocketdock. It's a customizable program that looks like Apple's OS X application launcher. You can drag any file or folder to it and it'll start it or open it from your desktop. And, yes, I have been known to drag a favorite scene to it once in a while. I almost always have at least one porn folder on the dock, either from a favorite site or a current or recent site I've joined.
If you're curious what the program is, you can go to rocketdock.com to check it out. And yes, I have a very small vested interest in this, a bit of shameless self-promotion maybe. If you find that you'd like to use the program, I invite you to check out the icons I created for use with it. rocketdock.com/addon/icons/35833. I don't get paid for it - but I do get a little kick out of 50,000+ downloads so far : - )

Captchas don't bother me as long as they aren't the ones that are barely legible and/or put up stuff like Hebrew words. I've seen Hebrew, Arabic and Asian language pop up - that's about as annoying as it gets. For consistent irritation, I'd have to go with sites that require you to type in your user:pass every time.

This one, two on Amazon, one for RV's, and two tech forums. So I can't vote. It's not 4 or 5 and it's not more than 6. LOL

ra - I'd easily be right there with you with the 15TB. But, with the advantage(?) of not having steady work, I've had tons of time to cut my collection down by re-encoding a lot of video, cutting out a shit load of garbage. In the last week alone, I know I've saved at least 3 or 4 hundred gigs of drive space.
But, having dropped Comcast and their 250 gig per month cap, I'll probably wind up right back where I started soon enough. FIOS isn't fiber, but it still comes in way faster than I can watch it!

Once when I didn't know it, by a creepy friend of an ex-girlfriend. We were going at it on a sofa, he was at the window. Never did find out how long he was there.
If you count sex in a sleeping bag at a concert, then it's twice.

I do the same thing. I'm told I do it backwards though - the PC is on a 40" monitor, the game will be on a 19.

I'm looking at it everyday but usually only participate when there's a subject I have an opinion or thought on. Since the majority of sites don't really appeal to me these days, that participation is a lot more sporadic than it used to be.

IFeelMyself is about the only one I consistently go back to, but that only means maybe two or three times a year. There aren't too many sites out there that appeal to me these days.

I think it definitely depends on the definition. To me, a niche is the same as a fetish. (See lk2's response above) If you like to watch anal sex, you join sites that focus on anal. If you like to watch masturbation, you join sites that focus on that. I think most people, however look at a fetish as something more extreme or uncommon, like BDSM, pissing or tickling.

Never. Somewhere in my running around the Internet, I found a 20+ gig copy of Avatar. Yeah - 20+ gigs. I didn't hesitate. So a 2 or 30 gig file wouldn't be an issue at all.

I think it depends on the model. I remember years ago when In Bed With Faith went to Faith Exposed. I was quite pleased with the change.

I'm not sure what I dislike more - Santa Suits or angel wings. Both have been overdone to death. If I never see either again, I won't be disappointed.

I haven't burned DVDs for backup since 120 gig drives were top of the line. In fact, I'm trying to clean up a bunch of clutter in the house and just threw out about a dozen stacks of old backups. Everything's been on externals and bare drives for years.

I've congratulated some webmasters on a job well done and, of course, me being me, I've sent criticisms - but only when I've felt there's a chance they might actually be receptive to a critique of their site.
