That's what I thought when I subscribed long term but I won't renew once the year (10 months?) is up because I, too, have not been downloading much.
I have been a member on and off for years and have all the old stuff that interested me then. Actually I don't because I deleted all 640x480p videos that weren't sharp enough for my taste. HD has spoiled me.
The new stuff is mostly run of the mill to me. And since I don't download anything BUT HD contents there's usually a long wait between downloads. I wish I were as undemanding as most, who don't seem to mind to look at yesterday's quality.

Hey Squirrel, I normally don't stream all that often, most of the time I just do it for the first minute or so of a video to see how it starts, but the jerkiness has been very obvious right from the start of a scene. At first I blamed my ISP but all other sites streamed and downloaded at their usual speed so it had to be VB. Re. downloads, I normally get my full speed (2.35MB/s) out of VB but it seems to have been cut in half. Today I couldn't get better than 1.00MB/s. Their popularity might do them in yet!

Actually they do say HD1080p, Ozark. Just click on their link and then look at the "latest Bangbros videos" they ARE advertised as 1080p yet there is no way to download them as such. This is one of the reasons why my comment was far less favorable than yours and I was hoping they had become more honest in the meantime. As to skin imperfections .. I actually like them. Natural is in with me. Rather that then a slightly blurry video. But, realizing that tastes differ, I am still saying I am glad you found something you really liked. :-)

After I got used to my tablet I became a total convert to electronic reading. It really comes in handy with 500+ page books. Reading the Kindle / or Kobo way I can simply prop my tablet up on a pillow next to me and read without strain. Another good thing, as you get older your eyes get worse and tablets give me a chance to adjust the font of a book so that reading once again becomes comfortable. Also there are tons of self-publishing authors to be found at a very low price. Some aren't the greatest of writers but many are. I've enjoyed quite a few a $ 2.98 books (and less) during the past couple of months.

A large collection of videos. Site claims 12888 but this number has not changed in days even though they update, as a rule, with at least two videos daily so, take with a grain of salt.
HD videos, 1920x1080p with a total bitrate of 3000+ since late 2011. Date is approximate.
Attractive, mostly young, Japanese models.
Part of a network of five sites.
Zipped picture sets. Pictures are taken from the video but are of better quality than most screen caps.
The most recent set contains 27 pictures, sized 1000x1500px.
Movies and pictures are not pixellated.
Excellent download speed for me, maxing out my connection. |

Generic porn with no surprises or originality. This comes from an older man, someone younger might disagree with my assessment.
My niche, mature women in sexy lingerie, is disappointingly under-represented.
Most older videos are not in HD but of lower quality, which is normal for all sites that have been around for a while, but this annoyed me because I expected a site calle JAVHD to be all HD.
No model biographies, inaccurate niche listings, eg. I expected to find mature women under “mature,” and not just someone over twenty, unless older Japanese women look exceptionally young. In most sites there are MILFs (over 30) and all that are older than MILFs will be sorted under mature. Which usually means 40 years of age and up. I am still looking for a single 40+ female on this site. |

Well, as I explained in my comment, Japanese Porn has the reputation of being different, so my expectation of finding something that I hadn't seen before was high. Regrettably, I am finding mostly every day, generic porn .. not bad at all, mind you, if you just started to get into Porn recently .. but for anyone who has been looking at videos for years this site is no better than any other video site and even worse in some aspects. For instance, the preponderance of those microphone shaped wands used to stimulate women's clits, is astounding.
Models are pleasantly (THEIR pleasure not mine) attacked with these monstrosities in every second video, or so it appears. If you don't like dildos or wands you will get annoyed at seeing so many videos containing them.
There are good things too about this site:
I haven't seen a single set of enhanced breasts, so far. I am sure they exist, but it appears that Japanese males have the good sense and taste to reject them.
There is no pixellation, which is great, but this might mean that this site is in non-Japanese hands, which would explain why the porn looked generally so unexciting to me. However, I do like the fact that the action is a bit slower than what we are used to and that the actors (male and female) nibble an ear now and then or dwell on a nipple a bit longer than two seconds, or concentrate on teasing for a while before the action starts. This is a lot more appealing to me then the frantic copulation right from the start that one is exposed to in so many North American videos.
Despite some of my negativity this is really not a bad site at all, and I rated it as such, I am sure many will like it, and the price is right at the moment, but for someone who was looking for a bit of excitement up and above that found in other large video sites it was a bit of a disappointment.
And I am still not sure what the offer to upgrade (under my account) entails. I thought I had it all. I have access to all five sites, there are no restrictions on downloads so what more could there be? |

No explanation whatever., Khan. It had to be their fault if their link did not go anywhere in two different sites (especially in the JAV HD one) but they kept quiet about the possible causes and just suggested I go shopping for sites through them!

Hi, sorry Khan. I could have sworn I gave an explanation to someone here but it was most likely a query I addressed to Epoch. I tried over a period of weeks to subscribe through our site, always got as far as epoch, filled in all the usual details yet every single time I clicked on "complete transaction" I wasn't going anywhere .. the Epoch window just stayed up, no attempt to link to anything. The first couple of times I waited for five minutes or longer, thinking there might be a delay but eventually realized that pressing "complete transaction" didn't lead anywhere and wasn't linked to anything. I was afraid at first that I would be charged for every failed attempt but no charge ever showed up. This is the sequence: click on subscribe (or join), Epoch pops up wanting a username and password plus credit information, click on proceed (or whatever it says) in that first window and a second Epoch window will pop up with all the information you just gave in the first one, on the bottom the usual button "complete transaction" which is your usual dead end. This one does not lead anywhere, as I explained. One weird thing, right after my first couple of attempts I started to get JAVHD newsletters encouraging me to join. When I hit their"join" button ... same thing. I simply could not get past that second Epoch screen because it did not link to anything. That's when I finally got in touch with Epoch and they suggested that I go "shopping" at their site and subscribe through them. I succeeded immediately. I now wish I hadn't (see my comment) but that's how things go. Win some, lose some. Hope I didn't confuse you too much. I just wish someone else tried to subscribe through the link you provide just to see if this happens to everyone.
