I think Drooler says it best. Between the vague definitions of what will be virtual sex the fact that nothing replaces the real thing, I wonder if we'll ever be there.
To my the relevant movie reference comes from a 90s Sly Stallone film (I think it was Demolition Man), in the movie he has virtual sex with a future woman, then they have non-virtual sex and of course there's no comparison.

To me it doesn't excite me more if she's next to a gun, but the gun is also not the focus of my attention. ;)

I said yes, somewhat. When I join large corporate sites, I don't fine myself needing to interact with the webmaster.
However, I tend to prefer smaller networks; solo sites. Recently I really enjoyed the filthycuteonline network, and have long loved the excellent attitude and customer service at lelulove.com

I use the favorites section at PU to keep an eye on site that I'd like to get a membership to but then it's more an impulse buy for which one I'll join at any given moment.
That said if I see a good site at a good price, I can't resist a bargain.
