Castingcouchx.com is one of the new BangBros "we're-going-stylish-boys!" spin off's, along with passionhd and puremature. The theme is pretty straight forward: young girls who want to enter the porn business are being casted in a 1 on 1 session. Fortunately, it usually doesn't take much to convince the girl, that taking off her clothes and go for a trial sex scene is THE way to achieve this goal. Been there, seen that, got the .mpeg.
Casting videos are probably as old as internet porn (probably even older), and this site doesn't elevate this noble setting to a new level or something. It's plain and simple and the subscriber knows exactly what to expect, which - given the usual standards - is quite good in my books.
Site navigation is simple but ok. The scenes are sorted by release date, each scene comes with a screencap, date and first name of the girl, as well as the obligatory user rating. You can also browse the girls by name, which is currently a rather useless feature, because there are so few scenes available that it's kinda hard to lose track or get lost in the ammount of content. There are currently 23 scenes available (as of 12-07-2012).
Each scene is about 40 minutes long with 5-10 minutes of chatting, a couple of minutes of undressing and the rest is hardcore. This, I have to admit, is also the biggest weakness of the site in my opinion. It's quite repetitive. Almost every scene is a blueprint, the camera angles, the positions, the final facial, it all looks quite the same. Variety is definitely not the center of competence of this site. But otoh, that's not really neccessary, because the scenes are well done and very entertaining.
The girls are all good looking, there's not much silicone (I think I've spotted just one case of plastic boobs) nor tattoo madness. 10 Points to Gryfindor here.
A minor drawback is, that all the girls are just listed with their first names, which emphasizes the pseudo-amateur factor, but doesn't really help the collector.
Technically, the scenes are of a pretty high standard. However, apparently each scene is shot with two different cameras, a head-cam and a static cam. Those cameras are producing notably different pictures, which means a lot of changing during a scene. This is not a drama though, just some high-level-moaning.
One thing that really annoys me is the fact that all videos are coming with the same filename. Please, site admins of the world, it's not THAT hard to come up with separate filenames for each of your scenes!
Another negative aspect is the infrequent update history. Sometimes, there is a new update every day (sometimes even two, according to the history), sometimes, there is a 1 week gap between two updates. I know, quality over quantity and everything, but I still prefer a fixed update schedule.
The servers seem to be quite stable. I downloaded a couple of videos and always had my full cable bandwidth available.
Bottom line:
This is a promising site! If they manage to get a bit larger and keep up the standards, I'll certainly come back. If you are into the casting scenario thing and like your girls fresh and natural, give it a try. |

I use to join ztod every couple of months to get the latest movies and, thanks to the pretty good quality of the scenes, I never regretted my decision. ZTOD is a very solid site with loads of content covering almost every niche, so no complaints here.
However, navigation and browsing options of the site are a bit of a drawback. Some examples:
- The model index does not have a "filter by letter" option. You can browse all models alphabetically (which is about 68 pages), but not, for example, display all models starting with "S". Considering the fact that model stage names tend to have different spellings from site to site, finding the model you're looking for can be a bit hard.
(- On the scene selection screen, you can't right click a scene and open it in a new tab, which is quite inconvenient. I usually right click/new tab a few scenes that might be interesting and then check them out one by one.)
Edit: I just found out you *can* rightclick scenes and open them in a new tab by clicking the "x downloads" link below the scene
- Viewing a scene online doesn't allow skipping beyond the buffered part, "into the black". This is the biggest issue I have, because buffering is not exactly fast.
When I downloaded some files today, I got booted a couple of times. The download would just stop and IDM gave me an error message, recommending me to download the file again (which wasn't neccessary though, it would just pick up the download and continue it). I'm not entirely sure if that problem is on my side or server sided. Since I'm downloading quite a lot from other sites, I assume it's server side, but I can't say for sure. I'll keep watching the problem and post a comment in the next couple of days.
Conclusion:
ZTOD is one of the sites that you can't go wrong with. The sheer ammount and quality of the content won't dissapoint you. If you can live with some minor browsing inconveniences, I'd recommend this site. |

Video quality, especially in the HDTV section, is always a matter of taste. I prefer my videos ultra sharp and with a lot of color satuation. Hence, the mentioned sites are my personal definition of the current state of the art when it comes to videos.
Yes, I've seen the Live Show section. It's a nice bonus, but to be honest, I wouldn't download a 640p video, I'm too addicted to HD vids. Personal taste strikes again. :)
But since you mentioned the Live Shows, I've got a question:
Why is the actual live stream significantly smaller than the downloadable videos in the Live Show archive? The show, iirc, is 320*240 or something, the videos are 640*480?! Is that just a bandwidth issue during the live shows?

The network gives access to 14 different sites. Ten of which are individual model sites, the remaining four have a variety of different girls to offer. Four of the individual model sites and two of the multi model sites are dead sites with the last update from 2007. The rest of the individual model sites are more or less active. I'll concentrate on the multi model sites in this comment, simply because they seem to be the core sites of the entire network.

The entire network is featuring young, european amateur or semi-amateur girls who are all sharing a tendency to the skinny side. Occasionally, you'll also find a US model (Sasha Grey, Tori Black), but the overwhelming majority of the girls are from Russia or at least eastern Europe. You will find all kinds of scenes, solo, g/g, b/g, group. The models are fresh and good looking, no tattoos, no fake tits. If you like your girls natural, then you'll be pleased with this site. If you prefer XXL boobs and saussage-lips, I'd recommend to stay away.
The ammount of content is overwhelming. Over 2000 videos are available on 18onlygirls and younlegalporn alone. Enough to keep your ISP and your hdd busy for quite a while.
Most of the scenes are exclusive. However, there are also some non-exclusive scenes. I've spotted one shot from nubiles.net, they didn't even bother removing the nubiles intro logo screen.
From the technical side, the 1080i movies are of pretty good quality, although not quite as crisp and colorful as the movies from brazzers or realitykings. For some reason, this seems to be a general trend in EU productions.
The site offers live shows on a daily basis, featuring some of the girls from the movies. The shows are usually from 6-11PM European time. In addition, you also get free access to seventeenlive.com.
Navigation of the sites is quite ok. However, the sites are suffering from some annoying bugs. Just to name two of them:
a. There is a filter function for "Everything" "video" "Photo" which is set to "Everything" by default. If you change it to "Video", browse the site and change the page at the bottom, the filter will reset to "Everything."
b. When streaming the videos, the scene is split up into small bits, allowing you to click and combine parts of the scene and watch them directly. Sounds like a nice feature. But when you skip parts of the selected videos, you get stuck in the first selected bit. (Sounds a bit complicated, I know).
Watching the videos, I noticed that sometimes during the scene, an advertisement watermark pops up richt at the bottom of the screen. This ad only lasts a few seconds, but it's still something I don't want to see in a video I payed for.
Download speed is very good. I'm using IDM and got full speed downloads (1800KB/s).
Bottom line:
A solid network with a decent ammount of content for a fair price. If you like young and skinny girls, you'll enjoy it. |

Otoh, I don't do reviews because I don't quite see the point of me giving a score. A clear list of facts and impressions is more important for interested users than a number that just reflects my personal and maybe temporary opinion. I think a review without a score is more reliable and credible.
As for abbywinters, I've been a member of AW some years ago and I must admit that I might not be up to date if the site has changed in the meantime.
AW did not offer 1080i videos, when I was a member, the highest resolution is/was 1280x1024. I prefer true HD videos, so that point goes to girlsoutwest.
The AW videos appeared to be a bit constrained to me, less playful than GOW. In addition, there were very few b/g scenes available.

According to the update history, the last movie was added in February 2010 and the last picture set was added in June 2010. They seem to have pretty big gaps in between their updates from time to time.
Yes, it´s definitely more a photography site than a movie site. I`m not a big fan of picture sets, but to be honest, I´ve seen better quality on other sites. Images are often photoshopped (which is a no-go for me) and some sets are lacking variety.
After surfing the site for a couple of hours, I spotted a few more glitches and bugs. No big deal, but annoying and it confirms my initial statement, that this site needs a rework. It´s just sloppy and poorly coded.
As for the review, I never wrote a review and I don´t know if can be bothered. I think my comment contains all the crucial points, so people can form their own opinion without my score.
