- Was for years my highest rated site. One of the internet's biggest and oldest sites.
- The updates continue to fill the site up, 3 photo sets, 2 videos a day for at least 8 years straight, 365 days a year.
- The last few years content has had HD video and the added high option in picture downloads that are around 3000 high end.
- You see a lot of models you've never seen on here, though they usually start popping up on other sites, in a recent trend though, I haven't seen as many new ones as Twistys used to have.
- Search engine is one of the better ones in porn. It still will recognize aliases and I think it's the only one that does that. Also has all the regular tags for searching.
- To me this is the biggest pro and I will further it in the bottom line, if you haven't been here in awhile or maybe even never, you are going to see tons of content you haven't seen.
- Download speed was very good also. |

- A completely subjective con. I have had anywhere from 12-15 monthly memberships here, a 1 year one and four 3 month ones over the years. A bit of sameness has crept in for me.
- Maybe a word I've looked for before, I usually use it for music, but some of the content seems too polished, like it's overproduced. That could be the airbrushing which isn't near as bad as in the past.
- I think they could get more out of models than they do. Especially in solo scenes. It may be going back to being too polished, but it does seem that way. |

Twistys has always been one of my top 5 favorite sites. I admit part of the reason I always liked it was the former webmaster Shap. You could email Shap with problems, questions and he would reply back to you in a day or two, if it was a problem, he would reply back usually in an hour or less. The selling of Twistys worried me because I knew that aspect was going to be gone.
My feeling now is that the new company running it is doing a good job. The content hasn't veered too far off the Twistys path and it's still sort of a harder glam site. My reduction in score is just because I don't feel like the site has improved any. It's possible that between my 1 year membership, in 2010, and now, my tastes have changed some. One thing I do know is that Twistys is now hurt by the retirement or lower activity of some models, especially Euro ones.
At one time, the Anetta Keys/Smrhova, Eve Angel, Stracy Stone, Angel Dark, Sandra Shine and the whole group that was going strong in 2006-2010, were a big selling point for me. All of those have either retired or just aren't very active, though there have been 4 new Eve photo sets this year and 2 new videos added.
This is my overall feeling with this visit to Twistys. I've seen it before. Nothing has really changed. Besides not having my usual favorite models, I haven't found many of the newer models that I really like or I should say that I really want to collect. That's not the site's fault though.
One thing I think is the site's fault is that they could vary the scenery more. Maybe push a fake different color wall in with paintings on it. I know, that's a sign of boredom, naked woman standing there and I'm complaining about the wall color. But that is the big con for me. I really feel like I've seen this content before though I know I haven't.
I really shouldn't even complain at all. They sent me a promo email that lowered the price to 1/3 of what it is if you join directly through the site.
The good and this is especially good for newcomers to Twistys or anyone who hasn't been on the site in a while. They have 1,095 photo sets per year, 730 videos per year and I have seen content as old as 2001. I can't say they updated that much in 2001, but I feel pretty safe in saying they have more content than a new member could go through in a month, maybe even 6 months. It's one of the very best sites for collectors of individual models since they usually have more than just a handful of photo sets and videos. They even added a new Georgia Jones video this week, who I haven't seen in what seems like a year or two. The numbers can be quite staggering even.

Heather Vandeven - 24 photo sets, 30 videos
Anetta Keys - 75 photo sets, 14 videos
Those are my three favorites on Twistys. A few of the newer American models since they cover the world, not just a certain area.

Georgia Jones 39 photo sets, 25 videos
You will occasionally find models that only have 2-4 of each, but there are literally dozens that have 10 or more photo sets and 10 or more videos.
This is all hard to find fault in for a new(er) member, but for me, I felt like I was picking through trying to find one or two new sets of the models I collect.
It would be a very good place to start a porn collection though. The high or big resolution zip files of photo sets have been showing up for a couple of years now and those are around 3000 high end, with a few that I have downloaded going over 3000. Newer videos are HD and have multiple format downloads available. Older picture sets or small zips are 1280 high end, with older videos, I would estimate at least 90% being at least 640/720x480.
Their search engine has always been one of my favorite parts of the site since it is able to recognize aliases. A couple of examples, Eve Angel is known as Eva Shine on Twistys, searching Eve Angel will still bring her up even though she is listed differently on their site. Anetta Keys is listed as Aneta Smrhova, searching with either variation of her first and last name will still recognize her and bring her up.
One thing that saved the score from dropping a little more, Twistys is now doing a Live section where they have a girl or girls doing a live video, it had only been happening once a month, but the last few months hadn't had a new scene. They are showing a new live video scheduled for this month so hopefully they are going to start doing that again since it shows a very good effort to improve the site with something a little different. I'm going to use the +/- again, when I say for new members who like glam porn with masturbation, g/g, some b/g, add 5 points to the score. If you have been here many times before, you could remove 5 points from the score. It's still highly recommended. It's also a good site for those who are interested in the photo side of porn with a nice amount of videos too. |

The girls here are all absolutely beautiful. If you like Met-Art or FemJoy, you will also really like this site. Although many of the same girls are here, most of them seem a little less inhibited and this is the only place I've seen were so many of them agreed to do sex scenes. Most sets include both images and videos (listed separately under each model's profile) and the videos are not just video of the photo session, they are all well done, dedicated videos. Both images and videos are some of the best quality I have seen on any site. The girls are natural, trimmed or shaved, and solid 9s on the combo body-face scale. Every image and every video is high quality, with no older shoots or videos to dissappoint. Even the music selection and timing in the videos seems well done. |

Well...yes, there could be a little more content. The site, it seems, has only been around since 2008 or so. But in the balance between really good imagery and volume, I'm pretty happy here. I couldn't find a single set or even an image in a set that was just added to create filler. Quality beats quantity every time in this case. For the money, the site is well worth it. |

This is a VERY well done site. The photographers and videographers do a spectacular job of focusing on the girls..and I don't just mean keeping them in focus. The sets, lighting and overall environment combine to create exceptional imagery. The videos seem pretty genuine and there are some really excellent videos both of solo girls, couple and girl-girl scenes. They've managed to tap every single exceptional European and American model. Go look at the model list and you may recognize many of the girls. Most are among the most beautiful in the industry. And, as I said, the crew here brings out the best in them...in every single set. Several of the models look far, far better than I've ever seen them on other sites. Perhaps it is, judging from the fact that many of the sets are in the sun or on an island someplace, that it seems these folks have a decent budget and can afford to take the models someplace really fun for the shoots.
Navigation on the site is good, allowing you to list by update, model names or model rankings. Downloads are fast. Image selection once in a set is good. Select the image size you want, click on the images tab and then any image you click on will open in the size selcted. You can then choose larger or smaller from within each image page (nice feature). Zips are available in several sizes, usually up to 2500x4000 pixels.
The images are all focused, lit and cropped nicely with no odd or distorted angles, giant panoramas or distractions in the images. Perhaps the only personal thing is that there is a slight shortage of images showing the entire model in a natural position (i.e. without the legs or feet cropped). I'm not a foot fetishist, but I do think several complete images of each model once she is undressed would be nice.
If you have been to to the top-tier photography sites like Femjoy, Met-art, Met-Models, Errotica-Archive, Earl Miller, Ron Harris, etc., then you owe it to yourself to check out X-art. If it isn't among the top-tier sites now, I sincerely believe it should and will be soon. |

-Nearly every model is absolutely drop dead gorgeous with few exceptions.
-Models are natural in that there are no tattoos or implanted breasts. Most are shaved, but many are not.
-Six updates daily.
-Zipdownload photo option with three choices, large, medium and small
-Three video download choices, MP4, AVI and WMV. The AVI is the best quality. HD quality at 1280x720.
-No download limits. Works with download manager.
-Great search engine. Without it, the site would be unnavigable. Even with it, many searches provide over a thousand photo sets. This can be daunting if you are trying to get to them all.
-User rating system for photographers, models, photo sets and videos. You can search by ratings.
-Wonderful, very complete tour that lets you see what you will get. |

-Not very fast downloads. I got speeds of about 600KB and my FIOS conenction maxes out at 2400.
-The largest photo files are huge, ranging from 200MB to over 1GB. Individual photos can be as much as 6MB.
-Close to zero ethnic variation. Nearly all models are thin Eastern Europeans between 18 and 25.There are a few Asian, Black and Latina models and they are exceptionally beautiful. I just wish there were more. |

I don’t usually sign up for big well known sites that have many reviews as I prefer niche sites. However, I felt in the mood for a photo site that had so many nice reviews, as well as a very low discounted price. I love the quantity and quality of the models and the photo sets. This is overall a truly great site that deserves the many wonderful reviews. I will focus primarily on the videos as I am much more a into them than photos anyway. The previous reviews were much more focused on the photos and I feel did notappreciate the videos.
I was impressed by the videos here. The models are almost without exception drop dead gorgeous. At present there are 1077 videos and are now being updated more so than in the past. As of today, 30 new videos have been posted this year. They added 106 in 2011.
The quality is HD, DVD level stunning and most videos are outdoors. Usually lighting is a negative in outdoor photos and videos, but mostly that is not a problem here. There are a few videos of public nudity that were just ok. Some were not really public, as you are directed to scenes in a forest or a deserted beach. Some of these were hot, but the majority were not very effective at creating eroticism.
Across the board, the camera work is outstanding and the videos are generally shot by the same photographers who shoot the photosets. This leads in many cases to the videos being either a video of a photo shoot, very boring, or suffer from a lack of direction that makes the videos look like moving photo sets, also some what boring. But there are also many that do work and are very erotic.
I like the work done here by Luca Helios. He generally gets the models to flirt with the camera in most of his videos. There is also a little teasing and even a few showcase a bit of stripping. No dancing though. They have a rating system on the site and he has the number one slot with a video featuring Dominika A called "Parusa". She walks past some shops, enters a room, and slowly removes her clothing, piece by piece. She gets to total nudity at 3:37 and spends the rest of the video, about four minutes, in a chair and on a bed showing us her body in slow motion. No masturbation here, this is all for our pleasure. She shows everything and is very explicit. Nothing artsy about this; it is the good stuff. He also has a video starring Jenni A called Carefree that I really like. She comes walking down stairs inside a house, bottomless, and walks towards the camera and teases. This goes on for about ten minutes. She is simply gorgeous and knows how to create a mood. Great direction in a video that works.
I also appreciated the videos by Goncharov, especially Ksucha C in a video called Lathin. She is not much to look at, but is great at teasing. She goes to a home in the forest wearing a short skirt. She teases us continually with pussy peeks up her dress, while not wearing panties. Very hot.
While many videos are not worth downloading unless you just love a particular model, there are some true gems here. I appreciate eroticism that focuses on putting on a good show.
As a total package, I would give this site at least a 95 for the sheer quantity and quality.
As a video site, I think it is fair to compare it to the videos on other photo sites. It is number one in that category in my book. Compared to other soft core sites, in the area of videos of solo females without masturbation, I think it can hold its own. I would give it at least an 85. There are just too many videos of photo shoots and posed videos to go for a higher score. |
