Based on the preview sites for primecups.com and fistflush.com, two of DEV8's previously owned sites, it doesn't look like there have been any updates since 2009. However I like the quality of their stuff but couldn't afford the monthly charge. Now that they are finally offering all ten of their sites for a single price, I will sign up to drain what's there. I'll post a comment once I've done some exploration and have something to report.

Not really on topic but I just decided to go to Primecups.com, at one time operated by Dev8, that stopped updating back in 2009. They had several sites with similar site design and production techniques.

It appears that an outfit named perfectgonzo now owns & operates these sites and their join page says they offer access to all their sites for a single subscription. Dev8 never had a combo offer per se but they did offer a site that picked off several updates from each site at the standard $30 per month price.

My question is, have you ever heard of perfectgonzo and are they a trusted (by TBP) site operator?

Being an LA taxpayer I would have preferred the initiative go down to defeat because the huge amount the porn industry pays in taxes presumably saves me paying even more than I do now.

But my feelings about condom use that I expressed a few years ago in this thread haven't changed one bit and I would hope that mine ultimately is the prevailing view.

I still have all of my old VHS tapes (I'm a pack rat by nature), most of which have not been played in at least 10 years. About 75% are dubbed over from rented tapes so the quality is already somewhat degraded, but this thread has me ready to start a project to copy all the "good stuff" to a dedicated external hard drive and toss the original VHS in the dumpster. It seems like a waste of good material but I have no idea what else I can do with it.

Does anyone know if there's an X-Rated EBay-like site out there somewhere?

I called Chase about this feature and, lo and behold, they also have it. The sign-up option is buried in their security page but it's there.

For those who have a Chase card and who use online banking, go to your account summary screen, find Customer Center then Account Alerts. There you will find the various email alert options, among them an email alert for on-line/phone charges.

This is a terrific feature that all credit card issuers should promote.

My fail safe method is to have a card that I use exclusively for porn and on which I set a very low credit limit ($80). Whenever I buy a membership to a site, I pay the amount charged electronically from my on line bank account.

That way an attempted large charge is stopped because it's over limit. That has happened once or twice a year.

But I would much prefer the notification process you describe.

Location: SF Valley, CA 		I'm a moderator on a travel oriented website's message forum and can tell you two things. One is how so many people think it's an easy gig (no way) and when a post has to be deleted, the wrath of a member scorned can be far worse than that of a woman scorned.

Khan's approach is superb. You never know when he deletes a post and as a result the forum remains a friendly interchange of our favorite subject at a very professional level. It's been that way for a long enough time that it's easy to identify the primary factor.

I agree, almost. A gorgeous babe with a discretely small tat is OK by me (example - Anastasia Christ. In a group grope scene the little butterfly tat above her left tit makes her easy to spot.)

Or less than one grand. My first computer was a Commodore VIC 20 (I still have it) and it had no operating system or very much functionality.

Worse in the late 80's I bought a 512kb machine for around $4k and thought I had the ultimate. The notion that I could download HD porn videos 20 years later never occurred to me.

Epoch's telephone support is marginally helpful with my regular credit card transactions. "Marginal" means they aren't hiring rocket scientists to handle their calls and they give their attendants no training.

Based on the experiences of PU's as expressed in this thread, I am sticking with my preferred method.

I have one card that I use only to enroll in porn sites and I asked the issuer to set a very low ($80) credit limit so that unauthorized large charge transactions will get snagged.

That approach has worked quite well since I started using it 5 years ago, with an average of 2 bogus charge transactions getting snagged.
