The numbers of prevalence of HSV in USA are quite same like in EU, so it is really about attitude towards sexual life in general. My answer - nobody gives a damn. In EU in population older than 40 years - prevalence of HSV 1 is 80 percent and HSV 2 is 45 percent. Condoms are good, but you may have outbreak in area not covered by condom. Herpes is so common, that nobody cares so much about it. If you are quite healthy person than outbreaks are not a big problems. It may be problem for female performers, because outbreaks are quite common durig their periods.
