Personally I'm tired of people caving in and censoring things because of fear. Fear they will be labeled a homophobe, or bigot, or misogynist, or whatever some "feelings fascist" claims you are because they have been supposedly offended.

Its one thing if a user is actively harassing another, but as I understand it that has not occurred here. So to censor someone's user name to appease others is in my opinion bad to do.

I don't happen to like the username either, but you know what? Somehow I think I'll be able to soldier on. There's lots of things in life I don't like. But I don't think the answer is to throw a temper tantrum claiming outrage in hopes of depriving others of their free speech and expression.

I bet the very fact that this site exists at all offends someone out there. Should it be taken down because someone might find it offensive? There's really no end to censorship based on offensiveness.

Out of curiosity, did anyone ask if the user recently quit smoking Edited on Jul 12, 2014, 12:37pm

You should see this! The future of Porn and many other things.

I encourage everyone to check this out if you are interested in new things:
http://www.veiviev.com/lucid-dreams-v2

There's a link to download the demo for Windows users and a video showing the general idea. It contains several nude models scanned using 3D/360 degree cameras. It's intended to be viewed using a Virtual Reality headset like the occulus rift but I think it is totally worth checking out the technology even on a regular monitor.

One you launch the program enter "vr" for both the email and password (the login is just simulated for the demo) then press F2 to disable VR mode (assuming you don't have a VR headset). Then press space to begin.

You can move around using the W,S,A,D keys and your mouse. Move to the center area and you'll see the full controls listed. Press space again and the models will appear. You can then move around above, below, really however you want and view them from any angle. The scans are extremely impressive especially in VR but even on a normal monitor I think you'll be impressed with the scanning tech.

It's a bit like walking around a scene in which time has been stopped, but I thought it was quite impressive nonetheless for a prototype of things to come. Edited on May 13, 2014, 12:32am

I'd say Evil Angel and FTV Girls are both pretty high quality.

It's been a long time since I've looked at Dell, & you're right they don't include what they used to so I definitely overstated the value of the software you get. But you do get an OEM copy of Windows (which would have cost about $100) installed on a new machine. That's useful because it's easier to copy files from the old machine to the new one than to install over an existing machine that has files you want to keep on the OS drive. Plus there's lots of benefits to keeping the old machine around a while.

It's very easy to think you've got everything off an old machine until a week later you realize you forgot something.

Perhaps this is slightly off topic but it may interest you to know (if you don't already) that file sizes are going to go down in the not very distant future.

Today most video is encoded using H.264 (in MP4s) or VC1 (in wmv) but there are significantly better codecs that exist TODAY.

For example H.265 and VP9. Both of these can encode a 1080p video with the exact same quality as say H.264 but only take 50% of the space.

Unfortunately it takes time for these things to get adopted and become mainstream but they absolutely will. Now that more and more HD video is streaming online and 4K is trending the newer codecs will be necessary.

Windows 8 is technically superior to Windows 7, however not by a huge amount. The UI changes made to 8 upset some people though as is always the case whenever things change.

The free upgrade to 8.1 and the next update which I believe will be out in April largely address those issues though. Overall I think people would be best served getting the newest version they can.

Open Office may very well satisfy your needs but is not really an equivalent. It's bare bones in comparison.

And yes, the parts are tested to be exactly what they need to be, no more. They don't use crazy enthusiast heat sinks, power supplies and such.

However I do not wish to get into a technical discussion. I am purposely oversimplifying my comments because getting into excessive detail will not help the original poster (biker), or most people for that matter. There's what's best and then there's what's best for a particular person.

Given the poster's scenario & knowledge level my recommendation stands. Were I advising you (Reveen) my answer would likely be different. Though you are likely knowledgeable enough to make reasonable judgments for yourself.

I would encourage you to think differently about this because the parts that go into such computers are more thoroughly tested to work well together than a single person could ever hope to do on their own.
Also unless you play the latest 3D video games on your PC, there is no reason to be concerned about what video card it has or if its just onboard video. Anything from the last few years can EASILY handle anything you'd do otherwise.
And as far as sound cards, those are relics. There hasn't been anything new in that space for a long time. Long past are the days where it made sense to have a sound card. Any onboard audio is capable of doing everything you'd want.

And it is trivial to add a card later if you want, but that's very unlikely for most people. And even less so for someone thinking about keeping a 7 year old machine.

Another MAJOR advantage the average person gets from buying a PC from a manufacturer is the included software. That software would cost many hundreds of dollars if you had to buy it yourself. When you factor that in the value from building a PC diminishes greatly, again for the average person. Edited on Feb 08, 2014, 11:53am

If your PC is 7 years old I recommend buying a new one online from Dell or whoever you like. Don't stress to much over which one, I'm confident they'll all exceed your needs in terms of performance.

You can add additional external drives at any time if you find you need it. There too you are better off purchasing on-line. I can recommend newegg.com as an excellent place to buy computer parts such as external drives. Once you find what you want you can compare prices w/ Amazon which sometimes beats out newegg.

CPUs are designed with a life expectancy of ~10 years and and you will benefit from a new Windows operating system that will be included as part of that purchase.

In my opinion it is not worth putting money into upgrades of old computer hardware. Edited on Feb 07, 2014, 05:53pm

It's tempting because I do like the content, but I don't think I wish to deal with or encourage a Carnival/Chuck-e-Cheese style payment system.

LegalPorno.com Alternatives?

I was interested in the videos at LegalPorno.com but don't want to subscribe because of the ticket system they have. I would want to be able to download whatever I want without buying tickets.

They have studios such as Giorgio Grandi, Sineplex, Sinsational, etc.

Anyone know of an alternate paysite that has the same videos or if they are in fact exclusive to that site.

So the site I am talking about is PornCoupon [Period] com.

I asked first if it was OK in an effort not to be rude. I am asking here because I wanted a non-biased opinion and because my question is essentially: Can a discounted link thru that site be trusted? It didn't make sense to me to ask that site if it can be trusted as they would obviously be biased.

If TBP/PU had a discount for FTV Girls it would be my preference to use it, currently though, they do not.

FTV Girls coupon question

I was thinking about joining FTV Girls and saw a good coupon for it from another site. It appears legit, but wanted to ask about it here because I was not positive.

But...I was unsure if it is against the rules to mention another website's coupon. Is that OK to do?

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if the overlap was to such an extent that having recently been a member of Mike Adriano there would not be enough new content at Evil Angel to make a membership worth it. Seems maybe it is though.

I had considered reviewing Mike Adriano but you recently did an excellent one (rearadmiral) and I felt my review would mirror yours so much that it would not be of much value.

Evil Angel vs Mike Adriano

I've been a member of Mike Adriano's site and was wondering if there's a significant difference between that and an Evil Angel membership.

I know there's some relationship there, but don't fully understand the difference between the sites/videos you have access to thru an Evil Angel membership vs the Mike Adriano one.

Would appreciate any advice from those in the know.

Thanks.

Yeah, I'm sure plenty of people are already doing things like this, just thought I'd try and post instructions for those who might benefit from them.

Save space by cutting your MP4 videos

Apologies in advance if this is common knowledge:

Say you have a bunch of videos @ 1080p (because you want the best quality). But there's lots of repetition in them, parts you could do without, or wish were gone.

You can easily reclaim hundreds of MB of disk space per video by cutting out the parts you don't want as you watch the video and then save the edited version all without losing any video quality and all for free.

The instructions below will work for MP4 videos.

First download AviDemux. It is open source, free, has no ad-ware, and works on Windows, Linux, and Mac. Make sure you pick the right download for your operating system. If you use Windows and are in doubt you'll be safe with the win32 version.

Install the software leaving all the default options then run Avidemux which should now be on your desktop.

You can drag a video onto Avidemux to open it or use the File->Open menu.

On the left you'll see drop-downs for Video Output and Audio Output. It's important they stay as "Copy".

What you do need to remember to change each time you use the program is the Output Format. Choose "MP4v2 Muxer". Maximize the window so you can see the full video frame.

Now you can do everything using the buttons at the bottom, but I'll explain how to edit using the keyboard. Press [Space] to play/stop the video playback. When stopped, press [up arrow]/[down arrow] to jump forward and backward to key frames.

Key frames are important. They are the points where it is safe to make cuts without causing any distortions.

So say you're playing the video and you get to a point where you want to start cutting. 1st stop playback by pressing [Space]. Then press either [Down Arrow] or [Up Arrow] to make sure you are positioned on a key frame. Then press [. (It's located to the right of your [P] key. This will mark the beginning of a cut. Now let the video keep playing or keep pressing the [Up Arrow] until you get to where you want the end of the cut to be. Make sure you are on a key frame by using the arrow keys and then press ] to mark the end of the cut.

If you prefer this can be done by clicking the Marker "A" and Marker "B" buttons at the bottom. You should see a blue box around the area that's been selected for cutting. Now just go to the Edit Menu and choose cut, or Press Ctrl+X and that section of video will be cut.

Keep repeating for any additional pieces of the video you want to cut. Finally double check that audio output and video output are on copy and that the output format is MP4v2 Muxer.

Then click the first disk icon (not the 2nd) on the top toolbar to save your edited video. Be sure to give it a different name than the original in case you aren't happy with your edits. It should save fairly fast because no encoding is being done, simply cuts....and that's it.

Might take a little practice, but it becomes real easy and I think it's worth it. You can save tons of space this way and focus on what you're most interested in viewing.

Windows 8.1 Users: Right-click a blank spot on your taskbar & choose properties.

Click the Navigation tab.

Under Start screen check the 1st option: "When I sign in or close all apps on a screen, go to the desktop instead of Start"

Also sometimes people are unaware that you can right-click the "start button" to get a menu of useful commands giving quick access to many of the things you may have done thru the traditional start menu before.

Windows Defender is quite good. You're likely fine with it and its much less taxing on a machine than 3rd party AV software. Edited on Jan 25, 2014, 03:37pm

I use Windows 8 (Now on 8.1) and it works great. Popups have nothing to do with Windows, they would be from other software on your PC.

You can upgrade to Windows 8.1 for free and boot directly to the Desktop bypassing the start menu screen entirely if it bothers you.
