For UK users, Western Digital Elements 3 TB external drive currently £92.99 (GBP) on Amazon. I think that's the cheapest price I've ever seen for a 3TB drive and way down on the £145 I paid for the exact same drive about 14 months ago. I'm getting a bit nervous about the noises my oldest 5 year old iomega 1TB is making at start up and the fact I have to turn it back off and on again before it gets going so I thought time to buy another drive and make back ups of my old 1 and 1.5TB drives. I have some stuff on there from sites that are no longer around that I certainly wouldn't want to lose. I'm perfectly happy with my previous WD Elements so had no hesitation about buying another particularly at that price.

I've never had my prepaid card rejected when using it to purchase subscriptions, I've used it through CCBill and again only a few weeks ago when I bought my DDF subscription priced in Euros because I didn't trust their biller with my regular card. I've just checked out the Escape website and I see they are no longer accepting new applications for that card but there are plenty of others on the market. Just use one of those comparison sites like moneysupermarket.com to compare the different cards on the market and find the best buy in regards to what fees they charge

I use the Escape Prepaid Mastercard, it cost me £10 to apply for it initially but I can load cash on to it free of charge at any Phones 4U shop and there are no additional charges for using it online. I've used it on a couple of occassions to purchase memberships where I didn't trust the biller with my regular credit card details. If you only load it with enough cash to cover the cost of the subscription then they can't help themselves to unauthorised charges.

I noticed a couple of years back my bank (the well known Spanish bank on the high street) were adding a foreign currency charge to transactions in another currency when I used my debit card so the end result is simply that I won't use it now and stick with the credit card which has not yet imposed this charge.

So difficult to narrow it down to just 10, I could probably list a hundred favorites but these are probably the top 10 whose mere presence on a site would go a long way to selling me a subscription: 1. Monika Vesela 2. Eve Angel 3. Suzie Carina 4. Ariel (Gabrielle Lupin/Piper Fawn/Faith Lightspeed) 5. Natasha S (Natalie/Nata/Helen/Helena of Helen's Planet & Ero Nata) 6. Faye Reagan 7. Georgia Jones 8. Franziska Facella 9. Caprice (Little Caprice) 10. Lola (Dido)

Thanks for re-listing that, I'd never heard of that site before and when I ran across it the other day I got the impression it wasn't a new site due to the large amount of content it claims to have up. It certainly looks interesting though so i'll add it to my list for a possible join.

I agree with Cap'n, I don't see the point of those massively large images where you can only see one tit on your monitor especially given the hard drive space required to store them not to mention the download time. Even on sites like Met and Armour Angels where I found images of 6000+ I always opt for the mid size 2000-2500px where available. Since I upgraded my monitor to a 24 inch a couple of months ago anything under 1600px that doesn't fill my screen leaves me feeling unsatisfied. I'm finding it hard to justify joining sites now that don't have at least 1600px images.

I've noticed that before that my bank levy a foreign transaction fee when I use my debit card on any transaction in a foreign currency so I refuse to use it now on foreign currency transactions or when I travel overseas. I don't get any such charges on my credit card though so I use that now whenever possible. I only discovered this foreign transaction charge after I got home after a couple of weeks in the Philippines and checked my statement and discovered my bank had been charging me a cash withdrawal fee plus the foreign transaction charge and it ended up costing me around £7.50 each time I withdrew £150 of my own money....WTF???

How I wish I could buy them for those kind of prices here in Rip Off UK, cheapest on Amazon is a 3TB Seagate for £103 (GBP) which is still about $165 (USD) although good to see prices have come down considerably since I paid £145 for my 3TB Western Digital a year ago.

Surely that is a perfect reason why individual sites within a network should be reviewed. Maybe some people will be joining the network for those specific sites and then be pissed off when they find out the sites they were interested in are no longer updating and the quality is not so good. Reviewing the network as having xx amount of sites and xx amount of weekly updates of HD videos might not be so helpful if the one sight somebody might have specifically signed up for has been dead for 3 years and has no HD content. From a personal point of view I like to see reviews and ratings for individual sites within a network. Take the sister site 21Sextury for example; being in to softcore solo glamour photography there's probably only 2 or 3 sites in that network that interest me namely Pix and Video, Sweet Sophie Moone and possibly Club Sandy so its much more helpful to me being able to read reviews specific to the sites I'm interested in. Many network reviews for 21Sextury might not tell me a lot about my specific interests whereas Rusty J's brilliant review of Sweet Sophie Moone from a couple of years back tells me everything I want to know about that site.

I'm surprised you're saying you've not heard of Dhdmedia CT since the last 2 sites you've reviewed Holly Randell and Digital Desire both use them as their billing company. I used dhdmedia when joining those 2 sites and never had any problems and cancellation was easy.

After installing my new Windows 7 pc the other week I took an immediate dislike to Windows built in photo viewer so remembering this thread I came back here to check out what you guys were recommending. I downloaded both Irfanview and Xnview and tried them both out and I have to say I much preferred Xnview and use it all the time now.

Thanks for that elephant, that fills me with confidence to hear that. I think I'll probably take the plunge and buy one of them. There's a couple of Aldi stores around here so maybe I'll check what they have before ordering from Amazon. Toadsith I'll probably follow your advice and give the upgrade a miss. As far as I can see the upgrade offer has to be redeemed by February 28th 2013 so it looks like there's not the possibility to hold on to it for a year while they fix all the bugs. I'm not totally sure I would have the confidence to undertake a major system upgrade on my own anyway.

The very first external drive I ever bought was an old Freecom classic which has got to be 7 to 8 years old now and still going strong. It's only a 160GB drive as that seemed like quite a lot of storage back then but I use it all the time now as the drive I download to and view everything from before transferring what I want to keep to one of my larger 3TB storage drives. So basically my trusty old Freecom has been in daily use for years and never let me down.

Medion PCs? My near 5 year old HP desktop has been playing up recently going through the "windows is unable to start/start up repair process" on numerous occasions so I figured maybe it's time to invest in a new machine. Browsing on Amazon some Medion branded PCs have caught my attention as being reasonably priced and generally seem to have better specs than similar priced and even more expensive models of other brands. Also there is an offer on now whereby if you buy any new Windows 7 PC you can get an upgrade offer to Windows 8 Pro for ?14.99 (GBP) when it becomes available which I find quite tempting. I'm not at all familiar with the Medion brand, apparently they appear to be a German company which in my mind is usually a sign of a well made product with lasting longevity although I suspect they are thrown together on the cheap in China like everything else these days, so I was just wondering if any other Porn Users have owned or had any experience with this make of PC. I only have a limited technical knowledge on computers so any feedback would be welcomed good or bad. Edited by Staff on Sep 27, 2012, 06:37am

I see some of the Pacino sites have been packaged into a new deal called Pacino Network Pass (www.pacinonetworkpass.com) which I couldn't find listed at TBP/PU. Some sites like GiGi Spice, Natalia Spice, Tania Spice & Taylor Lain which previously all required seperate subscriptions are now included in this package.

I rarely stay at any site for longer than 1 month but I rarely see any of the sites I join offer a one off payment so virtually always end up taking the recurring subscription which I don't really mind as long as it's with a reputable biller like CCBill or Epoch and I know I can cancel easily without any hassle. On those occasions where I see a one off payment offered invariably its priced $5 - $10 higher so I usually end up taking the recurring subscription and cancelling before the month is up anyway. If the one off payment for 1 month was offered at the same price as the recurring I would choose that every time. I'm sure most sites that offer only a recurring subscription do so in the hope that they will make extra money out of us through forgetting to cancel the rebill. The number of sites that have made extra money out of me through forgetting to cancel is precisely zero in 10 years

Agreed, I bought the WD Elements 3TB 6 months ago from Amazon for £150 as at the time it worked out the best £ per TB deal and so far no problems. The only negative I would say about it is that it doesn't have a separate on/off switch like on my Iomegas so when connected to the pc its always on.

Oh yes there is always a slight variation in favour of the CC processor even with Epocch, as i'm sure everyone is aware we as consumers never get the headline rate of exchange in foreign currency transactions and the banks and credit card companies will always cream off maybe 3 to 5% for themselves. A prime example of what i'm saying is a site like Nubiles where the PU join price is $24.31. There are two sign up options available charged in British pounds, Epoch at £15.89 and CCBill at £18.14. Using an online currency converter at today's exchange rate that equates to $25.30 with Epoch and $28.88 with CCBill so with Epoch we are losing just under $1 in the exchange rate for the privelidge of being charged in our own currency meaning we don't pay a fee on our credit card bill and i'm sure nobody is quibbling about losing a dollar. What drives us Brits and Eurpoeans mad is how CCBill see fit to load around 20% on top for the same service which is blatent profiteering, but then again not every site that uses CCBill has this large supplement so can only assume its the greedy websites profiteering. Maybe they just think the average porn consumer is too stupid to work out they are being ripped off.

I have to agree with Cap'n, I've certainly never noticed any regional pricing supplements using Epoch here in the UK, that practice does seem to be restricted to CCBill and certainly plenty of sites don't adopt the regional pricing option so at the end of the day I think its still down to greedy webmasters who choose to take that service.

bebelover the main point to note is that you are not able to give trust ratings to other users until you have clocked up 5 user points yourself (the number in brackets next to your user name....you currently have 3). I notice some of your reviews are quite short and probably didn't qualify you for points so if you could make your next reviews a bit longer and provide a bit more detail you can get up to 2 points for each excellent review and break through the 5 point barrier

I would tend to agree with otoh about giving the new users the benefit of the doubt and personally i would not be in a rush to dish out "no trust" votes to new PUs on the basis of one review. I've not been a member of the site so i'm in no position to judge if their reviews can be trusted or not and a couple of the reviews did have a decent list of pros and cons even if the scores did seem a little high but everybody is entitled to their own opinions. Only time will tell if those new users go on to contribute more reviews of other sites or if they only came here to promote cosplaydeviants. Btw fair play to the webmaster for coming on here and responding to the criticisms of us old suspicios PUs.

Me too, I've had her site bookmarked for ages and now i'm seriously annoyed that i never got around to joining before. It seems crazy not taking any more memberships if the site is staying online until November, they could easily offer a 1 month non recurring membership. I think i'd better join Watch 4 Beauty this month incase she has an agreement that her galleries will be removed from their site too.

It's funny you should say that, I do pretty much the same thing writing reviews in Word and take my time over it then post it when i'm ready. I've never actually thought about pushing somebody's review off the top before so i guess you must be a much more courteous guy than me....lol. Funny thing was i posted a review of Breath Takers last night and it stayed on top for all of 10 minutes and there was a review posting frenzy and within 35 minutes it had been pushed down to 6th place.

I joined my first site back in 2003 just as i got my first 512k broadband connection. The site was one of those arty softcore Russian/Ukranian sites called Nasty Virgins and is not around any more but i still have the entire photo collection from that site stashed away on an external HD and i see some of the old sets from that site are still recycled over and over again as new updates at Pretty Virgins. That was closely followed by Crush Photo and Glamour.CZ a mostly non nude site which i joined for the sets of a young Monika Vesela who was one of my first favorite internet models and still remains one of my favorites to this day.

It's generally considered that the cost of living in Switzerland is much higher than most of the rest of Europe so that's probably not reflective of what you would pay for a Big Mac almost anywhere else in Europe, it's certainly double the cost of what you would pay for a Big Mac meal deal here in the UK. Of course there will always be tourist hotspots wherever you go where the prices are ramped up, I remember paying £10 or around $15 for a Hamburger and Fries in the Old Town Square in Prague where the cost of living is supposed to be much less expensive.

Hi ByteMaster, I can confirm the Escape Card works absolutely fine with CCBill just like a normal credit card. I usually use my regular credit card with CCBill as i have faith in them but i just signed up to figurebaby with the Escape card to try it out.

I'm certainly not tech minded so all i can say is that i've got 2 Iomega external HDs and never had any problems with either of them, a 1TB drive which i've owned for two and a half years and a 1.5TB drive which i bought 6 months ago. The old 1TB drive is quite chunky, quite noisy and runs quite warm but never had problems with it. In comparison i'm much more impressed with the newest 1.5TB drive, the design is a lot slimmer (about a third of the size of the old one), and its much quieter and stays fairly cool but after only 6 months i can't really vouch for its longevity.

It's difficult to advise you when you don't give your location but i'm in the UK and took out the Phones 4 U Escape prepaid mastercard a few months ago and have found it to be exellent. It cost me £9.99 to apply for but you can top it up free of charge by cash at any Phones 4 U shop or for a small fee online by debit card and then use the card virtually free of fees within the UK or for shopping online. I've already recovered the initial application fee by using the card to book a flight with Ryan Air online as they waive the £10 credit card booking fee for prepaid mastercard.
