That website is a purely fictional satirical website, similar to The Onion.

The conversation of Sarah Palin on Fox News about Czech Republic did not happen.

Your website check appears more to mark the site's trust as "unknown" than anything else.

My opinion? The site is an enigma. It doesn't have certain features to declare it a legitimate site, and it doesn't have certain features to declare it a scam site.

The site really doesn't offer any information about who they are - if there is a video there that you just absolutely must watch, make the determination by which billing company they use. CCBill or epoch, proceed and be cautious. Anything you've never seen before, load a different porn site and never look back. Edited on Apr 23, 2013, 10:10pm

"but I believe that H.264 is a superior type of video file with better compression."

If the wmv file uses the VC-1 compression algorithms then it is every bit as good per data byte as h.264.

"Is the substantial difference in file size the result of better compression or are there other factors?"

No. File size is determined by video length and bit-rate, which are independent of the codec used.

The only way you can match that price building a system from parts is to either use used parts, use an illegitimate copy of Windows, or give the user linux. The Windows license by itself eats up the first $100 of the budget.

Unless the person is a gamer, is an engineer, or heavily uses processor intensive software (like video encoding as an example), a desktop machine is not necessary and good chance is the laptop is the better fit.

Only for a very small percentage of cases does building a system from parts provide better value than purchasing a pre-built.

You can connect your current monitor, keyboard and mouse to a laptop. Therefore, you can give the laptop the exact same feel a desktop has. Then you have the mobility factor.

Desktops tend to be better for people who don't take care of their possessions. Break the monitor? Replace just the monitor. Break the laptop screen? Replace the whole laptop and pay someone to pull data off the laptop hard drive.

Something like around 50% goes to the affiliate programs, and the credit card processor takes another 10 or 15%, so take 65% off of the income totals.

If there are 2,200 month to month subscribers I bet a lot of those have multi-month subscriptions, deduct some more from the monthly income.

The AR-15 is a civilian weapon, not a military weapon. Surprised such an expert gun enthusiast didn't correct himself when talking about the M16 military rifle. Only in the very early field testing of the weapon did the military use it under the designation AR-15. Enthusiasts are usually good about making those corrections.

The lower caliber bullets were used because soldiers could carry more ammo. The bullets were designed to fragment and created a larger and more lethal wound than other assault rifles of the time period.

The M16 was far more accurate than the AK-47, I suppose that would mean soldiers had better opportunities to aim at a leg to wound an enemy soldier? But that has absolutely nothing to do with the bullet's caliber. Edited on Dec 30, 2012, 02:59am

Here's the flip side of the situation:

If there were no guns, if there were no threat of gun violence, we can happily go back to ignoring people with mental health issues, treating them as invisible, unimportant people?

Is it primarily because of threats that we have to show anyone any courtesy or respect?

I pay currency transaction fees on every foreign transaction.

It costs the bank an expense to convert currency. So the choice is either to have the cost of everyone's foreign currency transactions spread out evenly across all users of the bank's services, or only charge those who do such transactions.

While I don't have any stats to back this up, I am be willing to wager anyone that porn companies have been, let's say, less than willing to cover the full range of health expenses incurred as part of the business.

If you create a business that relies on government tax revenues to cover your business expenses, then you absolutely are responsible to those tax paying voters, who were 100% free to vote for or against Measure B.

There absolutely are many ways for the Porn Industry to gain more favor with the public and reverse this vote. But standing and screaming "You Stole My FREEDOM!" isn't one of them.

I live in Illinois, not exactly a swing state in the Presidential election. Near every county position up for election the candidate ran unopposed. State districts were re-written to guarantee the balance of power in the state legislature (of which Illinois is rated the absolute worst fiscal position in the country, so happy we have even MORE of the same!)

One Chicago district elected a U.S. Rep based an absent, robo-call only campaign while currently under federal investigation for campaign finance fraud, and won in a gigantic landslide victory.

Another candidate on taped recordings accepting bribes? Another landslide victory.

That's why I pay more attention to porn, and not even bother voting. $6 billion spent by candidates, thousands of hours of hateful negative ads from all parties, and in the end the only thing that changed was Measure B in L.A.

It's tough, but we all do it.

I mean, you're a business owner, you need to hire someone to help your company become profitable. The general rule of hiring is the person must bring 5x the salary in value to the company. So someone with a $50k salary must be worth $250k to the business.

You have the choice to make - do you go hire the woman who spent her years after high-school studying college courses? Or the woman who spent her years after high-school being fucked in the ass twice a day every day? That is not a job skill, job experience, that generates revenue outside of porn.

It's not just those in porn targeted, similar issues happen with those who serve in the military, they spend 10+ years in service, then return to civilian life and suddenly those 10 years of training becoming an elite helicopter gunner, doesn't transfer over to a revenue stream in the civilian life.

On top of that, was alluded to above, to become a good pornstar, a girl needs to become experienced at faking her emotions. When you are a business owner, you have to have trust in your employees, and it is extremely difficult to trust someone who is very skilled at the art of deception.

Whatever. Let's look at more boobies

Ha!

My opinion on the matter consists of two parts. (1) People generally involve themselves on internet forums when they are not content with the porn material available to them. There is a plethora of good soft porn out there, easy to find, there is not the same need for them to devote their time on a forum to find what they want. (2) The more a website starts on extreme anal discussion and just it's general presence, images, etc., the more those who don't like the subject avoid the website, it's a self-feeding mechanism towards what the original post states "a little surprised that so many PUs are so much into anal-material"

My personal opinion is anal gaping is abuse. And spending my time exposed to the subject, doesn't do anything except make myself miserable. And life's too short to be miserable. Edited on Sep 03, 2012, 08:09pm

Porn is a very complex business, with a lot of varied perspectives, and the interactions between most everyone in the business stay very much at a superficial level.

Take for example, the average pro NFL player earns $1.9 million per year, and 78% of those athletes file for bankruptcy within two years of retirement - add on top of that the new findings on the long-term health effects of concussions that have been given large scrutiny the past few years.

The question "How is being paid $1,000 for a couple of hours performing on a set any more exploitive than a single mother of three working for $7.20 flipping burgers at McDonalds?" is not a question that can be conclusively determined within the span of 3 seconds, which I suspect is probably about how long most people spend on this topic

The only real truth in the porn business is that every girl has a unique experience. Edited on Feb 14, 2012, 10:14pm

First thing is, I would never use a debit card online. You have virtually zero chance to dispute false charges. Credit card is the only way to go.

Get set up with a bank that offers you virtual numbers. Some banks go even so far to allow you to specify spending limits on virtual numbers, perfect for internet purchases. A site is $29.99, set up a virtual number with a $29.99 spending limit, after the first transaction, every future transaction on that cc number fails.

Usually when making a purchase from Europe. Two purchases from Europe in one day is an automatic fraud flag.

Ha!

No, once I was subscribing to a site for a webcam show with a specific girl - the way I subscribed required two transactions, and the second one kept failing. I already had to be a little clever with people that day to get the time off of work. Disappointed the cam show began without me. Then like 15 minutes later my cell phone rings, see it's a call from Florida, and the only time I get calls from Florida is one guy I do occasional work for, although he is a total jerk, turnover rate at his company is high because everyone eventually hates the man - I begrudgingly answer the call, and surprise it's my credit card company's fraud department! "Let the charge go through!" I shouted!

I have my theories about why the porn industry works the way it works, and one of them is:

Those who have beauty use it. Those who do not do anal.

Now did I just say that girls who do anal are ugly? What is porn? One way of looking at it is, porn is using money to get girls to do things they otherwise do not want to do.

Doubt it. Everyone shoulders the responsibility to make sure shit like this doesn't repeat itself. If the higher up within the University does nothing with your report of child rape, all it takes is letting someone in the media know about it. What is going to happen, a beloved football coach, the icon of the University, fired for preventing child rape? I don't think so. This is an extraordinary circumstance. My opinion, everyone higher up than Sandusky at the Universky who knew deserves to lose their job, plus additional penalties to the college from the NCAA. There must be serious consequences to the actions and neglects.

Paterno is in charge of the football program, these rapes happened under his watch, even if he were not aware of it, he still shoulders responsibility. He should have been aware. He should have run the program where people are safe to report these kind of things to him.

*If* Paterno reported it, and the higher ups dropped the ball, you think Paterno would have at least not allowed Sandusky to be around, correct? But that obviously wasn't what happened. Paterno deserves to lose his job. Edited on Nov 13, 2011, 07:23pm

Long story short, to many college sports becomes synonymous with drinking yourself stupid while partying with friends.

Just take it as the students wanted to remain in denial over the people who they were raised to believe are heroes. "The team" is akin to family, and the coaches are the leaders of this part of the family, and it is the job of the students to defend and support them through thick and thin. College sports is a weird culture. Edited on Nov 11, 2011, 10:45pm

If you have or can obtain Quicktime Pro, load the .mov file, and the file menu has an export option. Select .mp4 file format, set the video to passthrough (assuming it's h.264) and audio to passthrough if possible or it's not a big deal to re-encode audio to AAC format.

Let it go, and in like 10 seconds you have it in .mp4 format, with no loss in video quality.

VLC has a convert function too that can do the same thing, just a little more effort required getting through the screens.

I never liked KLite Codec Pack, I prefer these two components:

Higher the resolution, the better the picture. Higher the bitrate, the better the picture. Otherwise, there really isn't a relationship between the two. You can encode a video at 640x480@20mbps, or the same at 1920x1080@3mbps.

But there is a point where more bitrate produces negligible improvement in video quality.

Typically
640x480 - 4mbps
1280x720 - 6mbps
1920x1080 - 12mbps

Of course this only applies to porn videos. Hollywood videos go up to and sometimes over 50mbps to get the desired look.

For codecs, on a computer "9" is about as good as "8", negligible differences. But your hardware player only supports a limited number of decoding options. It is what it is.

atkarchives.com skipped over for some reason? It's a separate site.

To edit .avi files, use a program called gspot (not what you're thinking) to identify which codecs are used, usually divx or xvid with mp3.

With the correct codecs, you can use virtualdub to easily edit out segments without needing to re-encode the video. Edited on Aug 15, 2011, 05:06pm

You can get a terabyte external hard drive for less than $100.

If all the videos you're downloading are 1gb, then your storage cost is less than 10 cents per keeper video. How much is your time worth editing the video?

It's around here. They're a network of dozens of sites, each one having a separate listing.

Actually come to think of it, last time I picked up a subscription to them, it triggered a fraud alert on my credit card, and even though I was charged correctly by them, I think I answered the question wrong on the phone with my bank and they reversed the charge
