Not until I can afford head-mounted 3D. Everything else would just be a distraction. | |

They're further along futuristic innovations than we think, alfie .... and 3D might hav'ta do some catch-up just to keep up. My money is on Virtual transfer, wherein feel, touch, smell, as well as other important sensory wonders packaged and geared to heighten ultimate sexual stimuli (via perhaps some sort of electrolytic energy ) to those who'll shell-out the mullah required to join the lift-off. Putting you in bed with your favorite porn star and giving you the joys of havin' your way with her might just be over the horizon, oh ye faithful. | |

Gimmicky, just like 3D TV. But that is just my two cents. Part of the reason 3d TV isn't really going anywhere is because of the hideous glasses you have to wear. Not only do you look silly, it also is uncomfortable and a nuisance to have to wear the heavy goggles to watch TV. I also think 3D movies are not really that great. A friend of mine has a 3D and it really isn't as good as advertised. But again, that is subjective. To me, it certainly isn't worth the inconvinience of wearing glasses and all that. We would also look a bit odd choking the chicken to a 3D Porn movie while wearing the goggles:  | |

I bought a pair of red/cyan glasses at a local dollar store a bunch of months ago, not really thinking about why I wanted 'em - I guess I was thinking I'd have 'em in case I stumbled onto something 3D. Turns out it was a pretty good purchase. They aren't heavy like those goggles but not flimsy like the cardboard versions. Yeah, it's a little gimmicky. The color rendering with cyan/red 3D is pretty weak, but the effect is interesting enough to make me think that whole big dollar was well-spent. If you're not cynical, you're not paying attention | |

Glasses free 3D (that isn't head mounted) will not be here for at least another 5 years, and when it does, I hope you don't want to move anywhere in the room while you're watching it. The technology technically exists, but not in any way that's actually ready to sell to consumers. | |
