In many ways I wish I had posted a review when the site was at its peak for me. I regret now that I didn't. I never guessed the site would end up going this way. I am deeply disappointed that this has happened, because I always liked the content previously, now it has gone bland identityless mainstream. A great shame.
Whilst my image of this site is now shattered, I don't doubt that it may appeal to a more mainstream audience, so don't take my disillusionment with it as anything other than a personal disappointment. Many may like the way it has turned.

+ If you like the “girl-next-door-type” or something apart from the usual offensive stereotypes, then this might be your lady.
+ Tony does a superb job with the camera (technically speaking) but his shoots scream out for more life from his models.
+ An important factor for me, although I doubt it’ll make a twit of difference to most, is the fact no animal furs are used in Tony’s work.
+ A very reasonable subscription fee of $9.00 a month -- hard to beat.
+ A comment section is provided at the bottom of the sets for those who want to note their opinions.
+ No technical problems, except with videos.

My take on these girls are that they're basically your plain-Jane, wholesome variety, stripping and posing in pixie to simi-erotic settings .
Bright Smiles appear to be welded on each of the girls’ faces, with seemingly rare changes of expression.
+ Much to my dissatisfaction, most of the shots are done whilst planted on a chair of some kind. Beds or items eliciting erotica where the model’s lying down apparently hasn’t yet come to the attention of the people who run this site.
+ Too few Videos to even mention. On my computer all the videos were skipping frames and voices broken up. Whether it’s just my computer, I don’t know. It doesn’t appear to exist elsewhere.
+ Updates are sorely inadequate. Usually two or maybe three a week.
+ The volume of pictures, though commendable for a budding site, will be only a light lunch for agressive clickers.
Bottom Line:
The rave reviews I read before joining this site made it flat too appealing to resist.

Taking the whole bate, I caved and went for all the marbles -- 90 days.
At first, what with the absence of any hardcore or hackneyed, toy-wielding, pussy-gouging, touted soft-core that one usually finds out there, I thought I’d found my dream site.
For about 20 minutes I did. Then it started drifting downhill. What I’d really gotten was the antithesis of prime erotica. Great photography or not, The stuff was almost patently devoid of gonad stimuli -- which, on some level is absolutely essential for me.

Bottom Line:
Basic is beauty right ? from most of the models to the site lay out Figure baby really does keep up to that saying.
But that basic lay out is extremely efficient, from zipping sets to finding specific models, and those basic models seem so real, like the girl next door type feel. Simple and clean some times works very well rather then busy and packed.
The photographers style can fall under the following: Erotic (my fav) Casual, Playful, Black and White, Artistic and Intimate.
This site does deliver but it does have some things i would like to see different. Some times the content leaves you wanting more, The photographer really could have took an extra step with some sets and give the viewer more nudity or content. If you have something good go with it !
As mentioned in the cons, some sets have a silly theme or end in something silly-weird-fun. Where as this can be viewed as fun it really does kill the erotica kick for me.
But for Price to quality content ratio It's hard to beat
The models all seem real, ones you would walk by on the street. And with the photographer not touching up flaws they have, which (to me) re-enforces the amateur allure it has. I find myself drooling over some models and others i tend to click the back button quickly, but all in all the model diversity is good. From young to older, slim to figured, hairy to shaven. different hair colors ect.
I also like that the site is updated 3 sets per week which will defiantly keep your attention.
9 bucks a month or 21 bucks for 90 days. You almost have to ask yourself why you wouldn't want to try the site that has a lot to offer for only 9 bucks!

This site has been on my list to join for a while; as if the bargain price wasn't enough incentive, a friend of mine who's a member very kindly bought me a subscription (no affiliation, it was paid for! ;) ), figuring it was something I'd like - and, on the whole, he was right.
A quick look at the tour will let you know what this site is about: natural, girl-next-door type models, in fun shoots - some against a plain studio backdrop, some relaxing on the sofa, in bed, around the house. Some of the girls appear on other sites, and others are probably actual amateurs - these are real girls, and may divide opinions; on the whole, I like all girls :) but some folk may find some of the models not as glamorous as they are used to. But there are also some no-argument very pretty girls there too.
The members area is exemplary for a site of this size - the layout and design are simple and easy there are good search criteria for the approx 50 models, who have maybe 5-10 sets each. Sets are available as zips in 3 sizes, the largest a respectable 2400px. A great feature I've not seen elsewhere is your own list of favourite sets - you can add a set to your list and review it later. There are a handful of videos, some interviews, out-takes etc - these are fun but not a large part of the site.
The standard of photography here is generally good, although some of the shoots don't get it quite right in lighting, composition, etc. Maybe half the sets are against a plain studio background, which doesn't really work for me; although some exceptions are the really nicely done pin-up type shoots with retro underwear, make up etc. The other sets show the girls undressing at home, teasing a little before showing everything, albeit sometimes relatively coyly; I preferred these, although would like to have seen a few more locations.
The style almost works for me, but not quite; I find myself wishing it was either a little more glam and erotic - or that it was a bit (and I mean a bit, not hugely so) more explict in the context of the amateur-girl theme. For me, it's a bit on the fence - but looking at more recent sets, I do think they are starting to find the right niche/identity. But having said that, I still found much to enjoy here - some great, real girls (hopefully) enjoying themselves for good, clean fun. Maybe just a bit too clean - but it's nevertheless recommended, especially for the price.

Do they deliver what they promise? I believe they do.
The focus here is on real looking models that you won't find on every site. Some are nude art models, and the posing is interesting. As you would expect with amateur type models, a few were plain and some were outstanding. There was a wide variety of cup sizes from A to about C. There were two ethnic models, as one was Black and the other Asian. There was not much variation in age or body types though.
The site has a few kinds of photo sets. One kind seems to be professional as there is a colored background and the poses are pretty standard for that type. Some of these are overly artsy in that the explicit photos are few and in some sets there are none. The models hold a banana or an umbrella for example. Ok, but not my cup of tea.
Another kind they call "stolen moments". These appear to be solo masturbation scenes without toys, only fingers. Sounds erotic, but they are not, nor are they explicit.
Another kind is artsy black and white. I hated these. I know what I want to see and it certainly is not artistic b/w.
The best sets were the ones in various rooms inside a house. There was a progression from clothed to nude in nearly all cases, as some started off nude. The degree of explicitness I found satisfying, but the focus is most definitely on girl next door types taking off clothes you would see them wear in the street. These photo set types are the most common on the site, maybe about 2/3, and make the site worthwhile.
For the price this is a fine site. With three updates a week it is a bargain.

This is a site which will only really appeal to lovers of softcore solo female photo content. You’ll currently find 44 different models here with a total of 427 photo sets as of today. As far as I can tell these are mostly American girl next door type models with natural bodies and the photo sets look all natural with no obvious signs of air brushing here. You’re not going to find anything very explicit here only nude posing, no masturbation or toys here and you won’t even find many spread shots in a lot of the sets.
There’s a good variety in the style of the shoots, you’ll find the models stripping out of every day clothes, lingerie sets, plain nude sets and many arty black and white sets. Photos come in 3 sizes in all but a few of the earliest sets with the big ones looking great at 2400 x 1600 px. My only complaint really is the lack of variation in the location of the shoots as they all appear to be shot in the same house with most of the models appearing on the same bed and the same green sofa. It would be nice to see a little more variation such as some outdoor shoots.
I wouldn’t recommend this site for video fans as there are only 14 videos here and several of those are only interviews and behind the scenes stuff. All the videos have windows media, quicktime and ipod download options with only the 1 most recent update having the extra HD format available.
Overall I enjoyed the natural looking models here and for the bargain price of 6 bucks you can’t really go far wrong if you like this type of solo model content.

Figurebaby is really hard to call a nudity site it is more of a sampler site that offers nudity, art, black and white and softcore shoots. Models wear plenty of clothes. There are plenty of lingerie, dinner dresses, and basic softcore with bra and panties and regular clothes. There are also shoots that begin and end with the model nude. The 43 models are limited in number but are hot and won't dissapoint.
The navigation slows everything down. It seems like a minor flaw but navigation can get in the way of a good site. I could search by model and that was good but I felt like I spent a lot of time searching.I Didn't like the scroll method with the 42 pages. The photos seem to come up flash player style with the load circle showing as the photo loads the same way they do in Suicidegirls.com.
Figurebaby is for photo lovers. The pics look good at the large size which is way bigger than my screen can show.

Bottom Line:
I have to cut 'em a little slack because this IS a new site and I guess ya gotta start somewhere. There are 22 models on the site as of the date of this review - some have only one picture set up, some over a dozen. The average right now seems to be 5 or 6 sets, with most sets running an average 80 to 100 pics a set. But, there are still some things that made me wonder where they're going to take things.
The biggest head scratcher is with the video. Of the six online, 4 are interviews with no nudity at all. Okay - that's cool - talk to the models a bit. But the other two? They're each just short of twenty minutes and are compilations of a model doing such things as sitting reading a book, chasing a fly with a fly swatter and sitting playing with Legos. I didn't expect to see any hardcore on the site. Didn't even expect any masturbation scenes. But sitting, playing with Legos? That's a bit odd to me - and I LIKE things with a bit of novelty to 'em.
The other stuff I guess are more normal concerns. Like I hope they get around to adding zip files for all the diferent size pictures. And PLEASE - give me file names that ID the model - not just numbers! I've already found a couple of pictures that have the same number and that just doesn't work for me.
The navigation's a bit off too. On the home page, you have what I'll call six headers: Updates, Photos, Video, Models, Links and Support. Under that are two large thumbnails, one for the current update, the other for the next update. Below that are thumbnails for the last 16 updates. Those 16 only have the date and the set title on them - they don't ID the model. But, click on any thumbnail, you get taken to that model's page where you can access all her sets and video (if she's done video, of course). Even that seemed clunky to me. Each thumb you click takes you to a separate page where you have to choose small, normal, large (if available) or zip file. Seems that step could easily be eliminated. I liked the idea of clicking a picture to advance to the next in the set, but I had to figure out for myself that to get to content beyond the last 16 updates on the home page, you have to click on the Model header.
I won't use IE as a browser, so maybe this part is just a Firefox issue. They're experimenting with a beta picture viewer but I'm not sure what they're trying to achieve with it other than to view a gallery as a slideshow. Regular viewing breaks the sets down into groups of 20 per page. The Beta viewer opens an entire gallery which was slow here. Once open, you can start a slideshow or click on a picture to have it open on top of the page. You can then move it around on the screen. Ummm... You can only only one picture at a time, so why have that option?
It needs to be added that their support seems to be attentive. I found a set that was giving me a 404 error and they responded within a day, informing me that the problem had been corrected.

Pros:
FigureBaby's most valuable asset is its diverse selection of models. This is one of the only sites I've seen that features what I consider to be "realistic" looking models - i.e. not incredibly skinny, not fake, etc. Many of the models work as life models (posing for art classes and such), so it's a very different style. This is really not an amateur site. The models are all professional, but as I said, they are not the same type as you find on most sites.
Cons:
The site is still fairly new and even though there are three updates per week, it's on the small side. You can probably download all the content within a few hours. Although the addition of zip files for downloading picture sets is great, you cannot select the photo size. You get medium-size with the zip files.
The models may also be a 'con,' depending on your taste. I recommend looking around at the site before signing up. FigureBaby is very good about giving plenty of samples so there are no surprises. I've found a couple of the women to be most unattractive, but it's purely personal taste and they weren't the reason I joined anyway.
Bottom Line:
With the glut of European model sites (MET, Hegre, DOMAI), it's nice to find an American site featuring models that look like people you might actually meet in real life. I've seen many sites with a similar goal, but FigureBaby is very consistently excellent both photographically, and in selection of models.
It IS on the small side, but the price is fair and it's definitely worth checking out.
