This site offers a one day trial for $0.95 which is supposed to upgrade automatically to a monthly membership at $41.88 per month if you don't cancel the one day trial. It tells you that all memberships have unlimited downloads. However, they immediately charge you not only the $0.95, but also the $41.88 if you download any files. There is no warning that you are being upgraded and you are charged even if you cancel the one day membership only after a few hours. Nowhere does the site tell you that downloading results in an immediate upgrade.
If you call the online vendor, Vendo, they will give you a refund but it takes 5 days. Vendo tries to defend the site by saying that the trial does not include downloads but if you stick to your guns, they give the refund.
This is a scam site. Stay away!!!!
By the way... if Vendo, or whoever it is that processes your billing refuses you a refund, call your credit card company. Be upfront about what happened. It's no secret that lots of people use porn sites. Why do you think so many are in the business? If a major credit card company like Visa or Mastercard starts to get a lot of complaints about a particular e-commerce provider, and especially one in the adult entertainment business, they will be cut off and that is something that none of them can live with.
As a final comment, these sorts of tactics may signal a shake-out in the online porn business. Passion-HD followed a business model like Vivid - signing girls like Holly Michaels to exclusive contracts. This is a gamble and a bad one. Porn viewers do not want to see the same girls over and over. The Comments on P-HD bear that out. P-HD has to resort to these surreptitious upgrade tactics because it is struggling.
I would expect to see them selling their content to somebody else (content is King!) and I would expect to see them losing their best staff to other suppliers.

I saw right away that this site only has 20 or so videos, but they looked interesting, so I decided to give the 1-day membership a try. When the site did not like my username and asked me to change it, the cross-sales I had unchecked mysteriously became checked again. If I had not noticed it, I would have been charged $40 right then for a site I did not ask for and would not have even known about.
Once I got into the site, I started to download one video and was unable to right click and choose "download". As soon as I tried to EVEN LOOK AT a 2nd video, the page changed to an "UPGRADING ACCOUNT, please wait" page. I immediately paged back and tried another page. Same thing on the next page. Within 90 seconds, I got a call from my credit card company asking if I had authorized a $39.95 charge to Segway in Great Britain. Clearly, I did not! To ensure that they did not try to charge me again some other way, I had to cancel the card and get a new one issued.
There is absolutely nothing sleazier than baiting people with a 1-day intro pass and not telling them ON THE MAIN SIGNUP PAGE, what the limitations and expectations are. My experience with other sites in this network (SSC Group, LLC) has not been particularly good and I consider this baiting tactic just plain fraud!
Be very, very careful if you decide to join this site or other sites in this network. Clearly, they are a hit-and-run operation that does not care if they rip you off or not. DO NOT USE the 1-DAY PASS as you will almost certainly be charged the highest possible monthly rate just for clicking on a link to see what you thought you had already signed up for!
Oh, BTW, just to be completely fair, in the unlikely event that the webmaster for this network sees my review. Take a look at my 100% trust rating and then respond if you wish with a justification for the insanely unethical charging tactics you have. Looking at the preview area, I got the impression that the site was exceptional. Yes, I am familiar with the major players like Brazzers, RealityKings, Bangbros, DDF, 21Sextury, etc. PureMature had this aura of sensuality and passion in stark contrast with the fake cries of "yeah fuck me with that huge cock" and anal piledriving that seems to fill said major players' sites.
Most of the movies' large thumbnails showed what I would call "true POV". Not that commonly referred to "POV" where a single guy does everything including holding the camera, that would be the POV of your eyes if they were coming out of the navel - that is just some dick and face closeups. No, these movies thumbnails show the whole of the girl's body, legs spread, taken at the level of the head or higher, which gives an impression of intimacy. This, and the beautiful sweet lighting.
Unfortunately the actual movies are a letdown. First the quality. The HD formats include:

The industry has moved to AVC in .MP4 container, MPEG is way too inefficient. The MPGs at a higher bitrate and and 15% larger size show more artifacts and less definition than the WMVs. But since the movies seem to use a lot of white natural light, even the latter at 9 Mbps don't show enough definition. Video quality is definitely much worse than that on the major sites listed earlier.
Now the contents. Well, the thumbnails were misleading. The camera work is the same as everywhere else. Positioned somewhere randomly on the side, or long face and boobs closeups, or the navel POV (dick and face closeups). The "true POV" shown in thumbnails is of the accidental kind that lasts a couple of seconds when the camera is moving, like everywhere else. The thumbnails are way more exciting than the movies themselves. So they know which shooting angles to use to entice people, yet fail to use said angles in the movies? (They even photoshopped out Tanya Tate's ugly belly tramp stamp on the thumbnail, I thought she finally did something to look like the classy woman she would have looked like without.)
So the only thing that sets the movie contents apart from that on the other sites is the lack of "fuck me!" cries. Only the guy from cougarsinheat.com had enough patience to stay for more than 5 seconds on the same spot (too bad the site is dead), the rest are just ADD afflicted guys randomly moving the camera, and puremature.com is no exception.

Joined Pornpros again this month (May 2012) and the last video on this particular site was uploaded in December last year. It's really a shame since the quality or the girls is high and this is one of the few porn pros sites that has anal scenes.

One of the things I used to really like about this network were the great quality photo sets that accompanied each video. In the last 5 months or so there have been 16 updates. Of those 16 updates only 6 are actually new material, the other 10 are recycled from older content, mostly from 2010. This network has been doing this for quite a while now but on most other sites you would get about 80% new vs 20% recycled. Options are bit confusing anyway. There's MPG, MP4 and WMV HD which all have word "High" in the file name. However it appears that MPG and WMV are roughly 720p and MP4 is smaller but so far I haven't come across any 1080p.
In any case I would recommend MPG. Higher resolution than MP4 and looks much better than WMV without too large difference in file size.

PornPros Network has a new members area. They have decided to go "social" and add a widget at the end of each model's scenes list named "follow her on twitter" that shows some tweets. The widget is based on a script provided by twitter.
In some cases, someone at PornPros Network took the time to find that model's twitter account and configured the widget to show tweets from that account only. For instance, April O'Neil's @undeux. Done like this, kind of makes sense and I've seen it done on other porn sites.
On other models, though, they configured the widget to merely do a search on twitter for the model's name which, in the case of popular stars like Sophie Dee, yields all kinds of questionable tweets. For newbies like Karina White it's even funny because it's full of unrelated stuff: it shows tweets mentioning any account named Karina-something and the word "white".
Maybe they should stick to only showing tweets coming from the model herself. On the other hand, I think it would make sense to use twitter differently, like placing a widget on scene pages that lets members tweet comments about the scenes.
