Against my better judgment I subscribed to this site long term based on this promise:

Things are getting better and better everyday at VideosZ ;) "
Well, the month is pretty well up, the web site still looks the same and they are still short (as of this moment) by about 300 HD scenes. If they'll get them all uploaded to their site by midnight (as hinted at by support a week ago) today I will gladly make a most sincere apology.
Addendum: To their credit, in answer to my complaints, Videosz just granted me a complete refund without having been asked to do so. I wish them the best and hope they'll get their HDs up soon.
I've noticed that there are more and more compilation DVDs, not only on Videosz but on other sites as well. Scenes that I have previously downloaded are re-appearing in differently named DVDs with alarming frequency.
Looks like the producers have given up on new shoots and are just presenting randomly picked older scenes under a new name and cover. There is one scene in one of today's updates at Videosz that was in another update only three days ago.
Sometimes these haphazardly stitched together "new" DVDs don't even stick to the theme proclaimed in their title. There was one recently that had "cream pies" as its theme with only ONE scene inside that fit the niche. I don't care for this particular niche but those who do must have been scratching their heads: what were they thinking of?
These were the remarks by Videosz going with one of today's offerings:
"Porn the way you like it. No plot, drama, or character development. Just hot steamy sex. No trails of courtship, or even the tedium of undressing. No intro. This Movie is for you discerning triple-X fans. Its purpose is to liberate you from all those annoying stories while titillating you with hot sex. But in the end this movie truthfully isn't "Just Another Porn Movie." "
If this truly reflects the majority taste then those of us who are a bit more discerning are in for some rough, read boring, times.
Please tell me you wouldn't download a DVD like that and give me back my faith in Porn Users in general. Please!!
... and all I can say is that it taught me never to go for the lower price you can get with a long term subscription. I was so sick and tired of going to view the daily updates only to find one cookie cutter bargain basement DVD after the other that I am actually relieved to be done.
I must say this applies to quite a few sites who've settled on a certain formula and refuse to acknowledge that PUs get tired of same old, same old.

If you click on the join page you are being shown a streaming clip in FREE standard definition as well as in PREMIUM definition in HD. Is there a plan, not mentioned anywhere on that page as far as I can see, that allows you to watch and download some DVDs in HD. Question mark!!

It seems that we are going through a whole week without a single HD release. Probably they have no steady release schedule on them but release whatever they happen to have. Anyway they have many of them scheduled.
You get what you pay for.....no more, no less. And that goes for this monster-site of DVDs, too.
And it's cheap, but thank you I only payed 18 bucks.
After a week here, I'm bored - bored with a massive amount of DVDs in low viewing quality and too few HD - where the so called HD is seldom near real HD in the same category of "viewing quality" - so it's like going out to a store/supermarket on sale - and you regret your buy when getting home.
You can browse for hours here and find "a hell of a lot" but the finds are diseppointing, generally. Sorry to the fans here of the site - I've been here some years ago and forgot how lousy it (the vids quality) is.
Canceled rebill and am going back to some real quality sites - will probably not bother with a review.
They now offer a 2-day trial, full access, for $4.
A lot cheaper than one month, and even cheaper than VideoBox (okay, a lot shorter too), but it is a cheap way to join and download some videos that you may not find elsewhere.
WARNING: Make sure to UNCHECK the box on the signup page for the Brazzer's Network trial (1 day for $1, then recurs at a healthy $40 monthly). You shouldn't have to scroll any, but it can be very easy to miss, as it is in the same size and style font as everything else.
I have had a problem downloading some of Videosz DVDs because, even though I am properly signed in and can download most other DVDs (scenes) without a hitch, there are some videos that will pop up a screen asking me to sign in again with my username and password.
I went to their self-help section, informed them of the problem and got the reply that it might be that I was trying to sign in incorrectly!!!
My reply was that I WAS signed in when this happened and was hoping for an explanation from Videosz why I was asked for the information all over again from WITHIN the site.
In reply I got an email that quoted my reply to their confused attempts to "help" me first time around and asked me to resubmit it properly through customer self-help and not through an email.
No attempt to be courteous or apologetic and if the person responding had paid closer attention to my original question in the first place there would not have been a need for a further email and explanation on my part.
So, thumbs down when it comes to customer support for their inability to interpret calls for help properly and for their indifference.
It's enough to stop me from re-subscribing in the future. I like support persons who appreciate my custom.
I've turned into a paranoid sucker about these pre-checked cross-sells. (had some bad shit happen with that elsewhere)
So a question: anybody here experienced ignorance of unchecking those pre-sells?

This time I do not agree with asmith - I find the updates during the last 3-4 months at VideosZ much better than at the main competitor, VideoBox.
I think the words: "same old" really goes for VideoBox, whereas VideosZ is far more into newer stuff from more different producers - worldwide.
Joined before the DRM days and was very happy with the site. I'm thinking of joining again now that there's 1000 more DVD's but I'm concerned about the amount of DRM.
So how much is DRM out of the 1400 DVD's ?
Any comments on download speed is appreciated - normally I'm 300kps.
I joined today only to discover that two of four downloaded clips are incomplete - I tried Xvid, h.264 and streaming options - same result. It is quite strange that screencaps look like being taken from full clip.

Just thought I would point out, the pre-checked cross sell here is a free trial to 21sextury. The trial gives you 300 credits, which works out to one movie from what I have seen, other than that you can poke around the site and watch trailers, but that is about it. But, I guess its one free video, so not bad. Didn't have any problems cancelling.
I gave some praise to the download speed of this site but it quite often now seems to get stuck on low gear with total speed of four concurrent downloads hanging around 2 megabytes per second and timeout occassionally stopping altogether and timing out. Luckily these downloads are pauseable so all you have to do is force restart on a download and you don't lose any progress.
So I just joined this place today and it turns out that I cannot get it working with Orbit Downloader or FlashGet, when I do the usual way of downloading a file it just gives me the name "15.mp4" for every file I tried to download, then the download never starts.
The ONLY way to get this working that I have tested is with Orbit you have to open Get++ start a download, cancel it, then start the download from Get++ and it will start like normal. Is there something I am doing wrong for this site? Is there a particular download manager I should use?
As of January 2009, all movies are downloadable as 640x480 DivX, or 640x480 H.264 MP4. This is an upgrade from the previous encoding format of 480x360 DivX, but like previous updates older movies remain in their previous encoding - no effort is being made to re-encode all previous movies.
The watermark still remains, but it has become more subtle and more transparent.
The members area has changed only subtly - the lone change is the way the download options are presented, everything else is the same.
I avoided this site in the past because of DRM, but finally joined today.
This site blows Videobox out of the water. Why? You have the TBP discount here, and they have a much better selection of material. I can't see getting through it in a month.Plus the download speed I'm getting is 1.8MB/s! Fastest I've had on any site I've been in.
Joining PornStar Network gives you access to VideosZ
I joined PornStar Network about six weeks ago and noticed that they had a lot of ‘premium’ content labeled as “Moviez.” Joining PSN through TBP or PU gives you a discounted price and gives you access to all the ‘premium’ content. Everything labeled as Moviez has a VideosZ watermark, and while the interface is through the PSN it appears that this is full (or nearly full) access to VideosZ. If you’re interested in a membership to VideosZ this might be the better option.
I agree with most of what slutty wrote in his recent review, but subjectively I find the site better than he does. There is a massive amount of porn here. I have a huge collection of DVD porn but had no trouble finding hundreds of gigabytes of stuff I didn’t already have. Navigation and search functions are terrible, but I really liked what they had to offer. I like a lot of stuff from the 1990s and there is a lot of it here. There is a lot of newer stuff from many major studios too. And as I said, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there isn’t a lot of overlap with other big DVD sites like Videobox.
I can’t in good conscience do a full review of VideosZ because I’m not sure if joining through PornStar Network gives 100% access, but if it isn’t 100% it’s got to be pretty damn close. If I was doing a review based on the access I have, I’d score it 85 or higher. There are some problems with navigation and search, but the content is great. There is a lot of crap* too, but one man’s crap is another’s gold.
* warning – don’t go looking here for real “crap” (ie. scat) videos. There aren’t any, you sick pervert!
During the month of March Videosz plans to add 400 HD scenes to their site. A definite plus for lovers of high quality porn.
03/21/12: Broken promises? Well, with ten days to go in this month I figure Videosz owe me roughly 360 HD scenes. I am looking forward to a huge flood of HD updates over the next week and a halt! :-)
I decided to give this site a spin for a month. There was a nice $1.95/2 day trial offer for ZTOD.com when joining - that's a pretty good deal since membership - including trial membership - to ZTOD.com includes membership to ThirdMovies.com and BlackIce.com.
I don't care about Black Ice, but Third Degree does some nice stuff, as does Zero Tolerance. One thing I found, though, is that both those sites now offer HQ downloads - they look fabulous, but play haltingly on the 2 media players that I tried playing them back on - too bad - longer download time, less enjoyable results. The 2nd largest download option - the 720p option - gave me better results on both sites. When I was cancelling my membership to ZTOD.com - I would have been whacked with $34.95/month if I didn't cancel within 2 days - I was offered a membership of $29.95 - I didn't take it, but the trial offer was a sweet deal, even with the playback issues - sometimes video playback freeze gives you great images.
I have noticed strange thing in the videos downloaded from VideosZ. Whenever I skip around them in VLC player, it takes significantly longer time for the image to become clear after the skip compared to videos from other sources. I guess this could be due to there being less so called key frames that based on my understanding contain the whole frame, not just the changes from the previous one.
Anyone noticed same or could it be something wrong with my video codecs? Has no effect when continuosly viewing a video but if you are looking for something, it takes a lot of time.
