Back in the day (late 90's) I used to be an avid collector of ALS picture collections. I remember back then, images were available on the website and they also released a series of photo CD's, usually containing ~700 pictures of 4 models per disc.
Does anyone know if these picture CD's are now available to download on the website?
After e-mailing Alex today suggesting, as many have, to stop cycling content, he e-mailed me back today stating that he has indeed done that, and as of April 1st, all video posts are up to stay. Great news!

I've been off ALSScan for a few years 'til now - I thought they wouldn't make it (they seemed not to succeed in the transition of photosite to videosite)
But wow, the content is great - grandiose settings, sweat, oil, great looking super hot girls, lots of fisting action, fantasic atmosphere, great cameras...
they have all what FTV lacks...
I just hope, put on some hidden video-material of my older favourites (like Heidi...)
I rejoined the site yesterday, after reading a reply on my original comment from another PU user. I'm quite glad I did and the main reason is of course that they have stopped the video rotation. Despite that I'm not that fond of the generous ammount of fisting, I love the pee content, but I'd reaaly like to see more of that though (especially in the videos).
A big minus though is the design. It looks and feels like it hasn't been updated since 1997.
Alsscan now has live chat webcams. I was a little sceptical at first, as I was unaware there was "free" chat. The models need paying with gifts (or tokens for private chat) if you want them to perform for you, but having tried the chat out with Vivian the other week, I can heartily recommend giving them a try ;)
Just tried to sign up for this site, primarily because they have some early Faye Reagan (a personal favorite), but could not get past the code at the last part of the sign in. Tried it several times, kept getting reply that I entered the wrong code, so could not sign up. Gave up, if that difficult to sign in, can only imagine trying to access the site after sign up.
Regarding MarqulisAZ comment about fisting. Personally I don't get anything out of it, and if that is what all the new videos offer then am thankful I couldn't get in.
ALSScan has started to release videos in HD format (1280x720), both in DIVX and MP4 (Quicktime) formats. They are still releasing videos in the 640x480 and 720x540 formats but have released eight videos in the new format, with two being bonus releases of the first day on the beach of their latest Caribbean trip.
Their first HD video, apparently, was, in part, an homage to Gallagher. While the new resolution does give one a feeling of almost being there, it was with only a mild effort that I refrained from fetching some plastic with which to cover my keyboard. :) But, if the qualities of these early videos are any indication, a new level of appreciation is in store for viewers. I understand all of the video for the Caribbean trip was done in HD and that new work will also be done in HD as well.
Mind you, there are some considerations to take into account with this shift. The new HD formats will generate much larger files, perhaps ranging upwards of 700-800 MB. It seems the DIVX files will be about 20% smaller with no apparent loss in quality. I prefer this format as playing the MP4 files requires significantly more CPU time than playing the DIVX files. So, if you're a QT fanatic, perhaps you've finally the justification you need to get that dual or quad-core high end machine. In truth, I tried playing both formats and I found playing the QT version on a single-core Athlon 2500 XP machine introduced the herky-jerky's. This wasn't observed when playing the DIVX format.
This is hands-down my favorite site on the net - great vids, hot girls, high quality pics, high quality vids, lots of updates, awesome bonuses once every month or two.
And they are always working on upgrading the site in significant ways.
Now they have made a leap in their navigation, which was rather atomized and not so great. You had the pics under Feature Models, you had vids under Video Releases, you had vids under Directors Hottest Videos.
Now you can look in a few different places if you want, but if you are hot for a particular girl, you click on her at Feature Models and you have the links to everything they have of her under all sections.
Hey, that's a another bonus I like. The complete Eva resampled and now in hires pics and remastered video.
Thanks to Alex and his team for making this possible. I don't know of any other site putting so much effort into bringing back old stuff with today's standards.
I have not been a member of ALS since late 2008 (I know, blasphemy!) so I was wondering if they have any hot new models for this year? Especially any that aren't Eastern European or already on three dozen other sites.
Oh, and have they gone on their tropical trip for the year? Those are usually incredibly hot and very entertaining with tons of footage, though personally I think last year's was a step down from their one in 2007, so I am hoping they improved a little this year.

It's a bonus, so the stated end date is May 27 - they usually extend those end dates, though if you want them, it's not a good idea to just assume that they'll be there forever.

In his Mar 30 blog director/founder/master Alex offered a discount to their sister site Als Angels for a very low price ($9.95 for a month, that would rebill at the same price). I am not sure what spurred this on but he was talking about an Angels model and her unique anatomy in the same blog, or maybe he was just in a good mood so who knows.

ALS Scan has started releasing material from their latest Caribbean trip. They continue to set the bar incredibly high for creating a setting where their models want to go at each other in wonderfully erotic ways.
The first vid released is centered on Tanner Mayes & Blue Angel. They're all sitting around a table, looking a bit dazed, stoned and bored when Tanner goes off, gets a dog collar and leash and puts it on Blue Angel because "she needs to go for a walk." The expression on Blue Angel's face when Tanner comes over to her is absolutely fucking priceless - it's one of those "I love you and I'm game for anything" looks that's impossible to fake. Blue Angel's fucking gorgeous and when she's really into what she's doing, it's a case of - one of the best models alive at her absolute best.
The pics they've released so far are pretty damned awesome as well. And Alex has said that they have more material from this trip than any previous, so if you're a fan of hot girl/girl material, I highly recommend this stuff.
One caveat: They're venturing into boy/girl action with this trip. There's one bj pic in the samples released so far and, according to the Director's Blog, there's at least one boy/girl fuck scene that was filmed. So a word of warning if you're someone that doesn't want to enter a site where guys touch girls. For anybody else..
On checking my email today I found an offer from ALS offering a free membership at Nubiles when you sign up at ALS Scan. First time i've seen that package offered as a deal. If you're an ex member of ALS and on their mailing list might be worth keeping an eye out for that email if the offer is of interest to you.
The English version of this site is a wee bit different in that there are far fewer pictures on offer, and no complete picture sets. The vid sections are the same, it seems. I can access both versions with my membership, simply by going into the address bar and erasing the /eng/ part of the URL, then hitting enter. The Japanese-text site contains three photo sections with several complete picture sets, but not enough considering the price, though there are TONS of vids; the English version gives you only four or five sample pics of each model from the complete sets. There seems to be a lot more going on in the Japanese site, but you're flying blind if you can't decode the links.
I was very miffed when I saw in my email confirmation that I had paid for two months, amounting to 90 USD. It could be that I made an error. In any case, I contacted CCBill but they have apparently ignored me.
The 18 U.S.C. 2257 link appears on every page, but the way these models act and the way they are dressed makes me a bit uncomfy. The videos are nearly all marred by a saccharine music track which adds nothing to the experience except the need to turn off the volume. Other than that the vids are pretty decent, except that the girls often seem upset when they are being groped and prodded. Whether this is an act or genuine it's a turn-OFF for me, in a big way. Most of the time it looks obviously put-on.
NOT worth the money. They need to cut the price in half.
I've been a member of alsscan for some years now (been a member of many other pay sites too)
alsscan is still the best site - great mix of pro- and new models, I like this mix alot. The models are often seen in situations new to the model, but always in a relaxed mood, never pushed into the situation.
It's one of the few sites where the members actually are heard (regarding new models, new set-ups etc)
So I mailed the site and it turned out that the problem was due to a dispute between Congent and Telia...
This is what Bob from ALS wrote to me:

If you're participating in the voting at ALS Scan for which older sets you'd like redone in larger sizes and better quality, I have a plea to make.
I've noticed that a couple of models at least (Ember and Morgan) already have way more votes than needed for #1 and #2 spots. Seems that Alex will choose the best of several, so why not also vote for additional babes who are not getting enough votes so far. (Monique Alexander being one, and yes, I'm promoting her ;)
The same idea goes for future votes with other babe candidates.

It's a bit unexpected to see a scene with an intense dom quality at ALS Scan, so I'm pretty thrilled to see the new Hailey Young fem dom of Tanner Mayes. I fell for Tanner from the first moment I set eyes on her - she's like the ultimate little fuck nymph. Hailey I wasn't a fan of until I saw her energy in the first beach scene they posted of Hailey with Jana Jordan.
Hailey's a great dom and unlike most fem dom scenes, there's a great antagonistic energy with Tanner's brattiness resisting the domination. Bruce Seven used to go for that kind of dynamic in some of his scenes with Careena Collins, but most dom scenes these days are much more "know your role" where the subs just take it without resistance.
Fans of fisting, pee play, fem dom would definitely like this scene. I'll be interested in hearing about how other ALS Scan fans like it - I'm obviously pretty thrilled.
This is one site you'll either love or hate I guess. Solo girls doing weird things is not a taste for everyone ;-)
As some might know they had some problems with their servers recently. The owner was honest enough to come up with information about what had happened and in his blogs he keeps the users of ALS Scan updated about the status of the upgrade procedure.
As a compensation for the fact that the site was down for about 2 days all subscriptions are extended for 2 additional days which is IMHO fair. If only some older content not yet published would appear on the site :-( But that's the only drawback I can see while being a member for 2 or even 3 years now.
