ALS Scan is now officially part of the Met Art Network. This means that the site finally has a complete make-over - very well done, in my opinion - and, though there were predictions of glitchy connection speeds, the vid I downloaded came through smooth as one could want at over 2.5 mb/second.

The larger pic sizes are a major plus, and are available singly or in zips. Too bad that a lot of earlier content apparently can't be upgraded in this way, though. I'm thinking Mia Stone, Sophie Moon, Lucy Stratilova, Nella, Jassie, Monique Alexander, Mili Jay ...
The updates lists are archived and have a thumb for each -- much better than the former text-only updates list that only ran for 1.5-2 months.
And the guy running it, "Alex DeLarge," really does take member opinions seriously. He's responded twice to emails from me in less than 24 hours. I think I might have been among the members to persuade him to do shoots of Peaches, whom he'd at first thought was too wide at the hips (?!). (They're not out yet, but we look forward to them!)
His director's blog is fun to read, too. You get a lot of inside scoop on the shoots and models' personalities.
I have but one wish, though: That in addition to all of that toy play and fisting that they post more ass shots, top of head to upper thighs, right and left cheeks equally displayed, with the model looking back amourously. Too many of them just show the back of her head, so there's no feeling of interaction. (Doing a nice job with Uma, aka Gitta Blond, though.)
I love this site and what it produces, but they have been doing some things in the last few months that need to be changed:
1. No more guys in photos or videos. They used to be pretty good about this, but now with "full" photoset releases (bloopers and outtakes included) they also have the occasional male assistant in some photos. I understand they work for the site and therefore help make it what it is, but I don't think it would too hard to keep them truly behind the scenes, or at least out of frame.
2. Cut down on the lollipops and baby oil. Lollipops and baby oil have been used by a lot of their models since the '90s, but they seem to really overdo it now. At most, they should only have one scene with a single lollipop or baby oil.
3. "Guest" photosets and videos. These are pretty rare, but I am not sure why they are there, maybe for some promotion agreement. They have only been from 1By-Day, usually with ALS models, but bottom line: it is just not ALSScan.
There are some great things they have been doing lately, and they need to keep it up:
1. New HD vid format. They now release new vids in an additional 1920x1080 wmv format – huge files, but huge videos…very nice.
2. Classic model remasters. These are great, especially since older releases were pretty limited in quantity and quality compared to today.
3. Hard with the soft. They might just be a girls-only site, but their hardcore is just as hot as the soft, and hopefully they won’t stop shooting it.
I haven't been a member in quite a while because of their lack of fisting scenes in most of the new models over the last year + and chaotic release schedule, but I did notice that they seem to have gone through a site redesign. Is this the case? They at least changed the preview area a little bit so that's why I ask. Is the members area any better or is that still the same as always?

Well I never thought I would see the day!
Longtime loyal followers of ALS know that they have a pretty strict girls-only model policy--i.e. no guys to do the penetration or pretty much anything else--but with a new model they shot this week, Amy Brooke, they have entered uncharted territory. Don't get me wrong, Amy sounds like a great model; a lover of anal, squirting, and other such perversions, but I don't want to see ALS do hardcore, at least not the kind involving guys.
Call me stubborn, orthodox, old-fashioned, close-minded, I don't care; I have always counted on ALS to bring out the hot girls while leaving the guys to drool off camera. I'm not going to "yell" at Alex as he asked in his blog but I will cry, at least a little for the old ALS.
(BTW, I am sure Alex is getting plenty of hate mail over this already, and forwarding him this comment isn't my intention. I don't need him quoting every complaint and complement I ever make about the site just so he can mount a defense and call me out.)
I really like this site's audition videos. I usually don't care for "Behind The Scenes" material but there's something about all those hopeful young beauties getting undressed, and their reaction to the audition, that makes these videos some of my favorites. Just thought I would mention this because the videos aren't featured under the main updates and might be missed by some. And as an aside, I'd accept every one of the hopefuls! I am glad I didn't have to make the eliminations because to me they'd all look good in ALS SCAN.
There are also High Resolution Picture sets of the auditions available but I found quite a few of the pictures out of place and deleted those sets until their editors straighten things out.
I might have kept them, flaws and all, but one set weighed in at a hefty 3 Gigs plus. So, beside the problem of models ending up in each others audition there was also the problem of having to go through a huge number of pictures to correct the mistakes. As well as the loss of 3.3 Gigs memory on an ever more crowded external hard drive.
P.S. Just came across some audition videos in the main section of the site so if you look long enough you will find them there as well.
I see in some of the comments and reviews that Als Scan has been bringing back some of their older content in bigger file sizes and such. I've been a member from time to time but not for awhile now.
My question to other members of the site recently, how good is the quality of the older content? Even though its a bigger file size is the qualiy pretty good or can you tell it was shot in 2003 or something like that?
Considering joining as I saw a special for $24.95 and wouldn't mind getting some of my favorite older sets again in a better resolution that my new monitor would love.
While I hardly ever have complaints about download speeds, this site is moving bits so quickly that I thought it worthy of comment. Since all of their new video is High Definition, the size of the videos means downloads could be lengthy, but right now I'm holding a sustained download speed of:
1.10 MB/s (8.80 mbps)
It is also important to note that this is without any form of multiple connection download acceleration. I rarely see speeds this high from anything other than large businesses like Microsoft. Granted this is occurring at a very low traffic time for my area and I'm not using my internet connection for anything else, but even when traffic spikes up some I still maintain speeds above 700 KB/s (5600 kbps). Really impressive speeds.
Knowing that I'm a long-term member of ALS Scan, Alex asked me to do some beta-testing of ALS's new pay-per-scene site. Being more into perusing full sites, I have to confess that I didn't get around to it until the new site was already open to the public. I won't quit my day-job.
But the site is open, so I figured that I'd get my ass moving and see what my impressions are.
First of all, it's a very clean un-cluttered design, unlike MANY sites these days that have so much advertising for other sites that it's hard to even see the material that you joined the specific site for. This site doesn't even advertise ALS Scan - which it might want to do in a non-intrusive way, since many who discover ALS through this site might want to see more.
At this site, you buy ALS Dollars with a credit card and then you purchase individual scenes - photo-sets or vids.
The price-point strikes me as very generous to the consumer. Where a month's join to ALS Scan would be $29.95, you can go to this site and say, "Oh, man - I want to see Amy Brooke" and buy a single "normal res" photo set of approx 300 pics at $0.99 or a single "high-res" photo set at $1.49 - or you can get a bundle of all of the photo-sets at a slightly higher price in either normal or high-res.
For vids, you can buy a "stream" of a vid - no download for $0.99, or a 720 download - DiVX or MP4 HD at $1.49 each or a download at WMV 1080 for $1.99/scene or again you can buy a bundle or the vids at any of the resolutions - the bundle of the 6 vids at the highest res is $7.16.
All the vids have pretty full descriptions of what type of action is included.
It's a pretty great alternative to a full-site join. I know that I've definitely been excited to see everything that a site has of a particular performer and here you could get all of ALS Scan's material of Amy Brooke at just under $10.00 - 1/3 the price of joining the site for 1 month.
I looked at one of the 720 MP4 vids and one of the 1080 vids I downloaded (I was provided with some ALS bucks in my account by the site for beta-testing purposes) and the 1080 vid looked more sumptuous to me on my system, but the 720 vid looked excellent at fill-screen mode. It wasn't exactly a 1-to-1 comparison, since the 1080 vid was an outdoor scene and the 720 vid was an indoor vid.
I'm also impressed with how current the material is being posted on this site. They have all of the Gigi Rivera material that ALS Scan has posted, so they seem to be seriously committing to this site as a consumer alternative to joining the monthly site as opposed to doing some "wait 90 days until you can get new material On Demand".
ALS has created a very appealing site here in my opinion and made it very easy for people to use it and enjoy it.
Would I give up my membership to ALS Scan and just go the On-Demand route?
Not likely - with ALS Scan having updates every single day - pic sets of approx 300 pics or vids that average 30 minutes - that site has the edge for me
I've been hanging around Alsscan for years now and I'm seeing problems. I wish I could do my review over actually. Still a good site but needs some change. Problems I see:
1. Content is getting less extreme. New models are rarely fisting anymore or doing as extreme of shoots as used to be the norm. Disappointing to say the least for fans like me who joined the site years ago because of such consistent content such as that.
2. The reality is that new true updates are not frequent. Now I know that sounds crazy since there is a new video and pic set added daily, but hear me out. How often is a new girl added to the site? Maybe once every 1-2 weeks. Ok, but then the model's material is usually broken down into at least 5 photo sets and 5 video sets, each of which are released at totally different times. And those updates in and of themselves are completely random, so there is really no telling when you may see the scene you want to see. Throw in the multiple updates of older stuff re released, and the real updates are indeed infrequent.
3. To my 3rd complaint: the release of material is completely disorganized and chaotic. There are still pic sets and videos of girls not released from over a year ago. This is especially frustrating when you really like a model and want to see all her stuff. I strongly suggest some sort of new release program that gets a model's content out at once, or at least over the course of a few weeks.
How Much Old Material Are They Re-releasing/'Remastering'
I am thinking of rejoining my old vice--shaved ladies!--and was wondering how many of ALS' updates are old remastered or unreleased material?
From what I could tell looking at their update pages it seems as if they have at least one set or scene from the past being released on average about every week or even as often as every four or five days. Forgive me, for I don't have all of their old material (yet) so I am not sure what's brand new and what's not but if any members could give me a clue it would be much appreciated.
Praise - I wanted to comment that I'm happy to see the majority of newer models fisting again. There was a stretch of a year or maybe 2 where many of the newer models were not fisting, but now almost all of them are. This is very good!!
Rant - It is WAYYYYY past time for this site to change the way it does updates. Models still have their content released on a totally sporadic schedule, which could literally take a year or more to see all of their content. Or you could never see some videos or sets of a model, seriously never. There is no organized release schedule, they just add updates as they get feedback from members as to what they want to see. FUN FACT - I do not want to have to beg for every set or video I want to see!!! Just release ALL OF IT in an organized fashion and EVERYBODY will be happy. Seriously, get all of a models content out in 2-3 months MAX. My guess is less than 20% of members are actually giving feedback of what they want to see, but does it matter, WE WANT TO SEE ALL OF IT. Get rid of this current system and implement an organized release schedule for content PLEASE.
Having said that, here is my current feedback - release a ton of masturbation category fisting scenes please. ;)
One thing I hate about ALS Scan is that Alex always has to release new models. With the amount of content still unreleased and the fact that they update picture sets only on 5 days per week this is a real annoyance to me :(. I'd like to see more Karina, Alexis Love, Kim etc. but I think that this will only be a wish they won't satisfy...
One good thing is that they released a Kacey Jordan bonus set plus video that seems to be real hot. I have only seen the second part of the pic set (+550 pics!) so far but this proves that Kacey Jordan is one of the hottest models they have to offer!
I just joined this site last night. At first it seemed to give my download manager fits. It kept wanting me to type in the password for ever movie I tried to download. After a bit it started working just fine. I think this site works like some others out there, it does not recognize the manager until it actually completes a full download, then it will work just fine. I have the exact same thing this morning when I started downloading from a different computer and location. The site is pretty fast though. I am seeing about 600 KBytes/s average on 7 downloads, so about 4 MByte/s total, but I am getting 6 from another site right now too, so it might be faster. The design is pretty plan though, I think a retarded gerbil could make a better design, it looks nothing like the preview and join pages. But, so far so good. Will update if anything else comes up.
Most of the videos on this site look great, and some look absolutely stunning. However, I feel I should warn you about a video series that will disappoint you and waste a lot of time.
Jana Irrova's extra video series is a waste. The series is a VHS remake. The quality is terrible and is unlike the normal quality. The biggest reason I warn you is because some of the files are close to 1.5 GB and are hardly worth 50 MB. You will spend a lot of time downloading them when that time could have been used to download videos half that size that are infinitely better. If you run into these the file names will have "vhs" on the front. Doing this was a nice idea, but they need to be edited and transcoded into something much smaller. The series ended up being around 13 GB.
Please read the reviews and especially the cons: this site is not just any teen site, it is pretty out there with lotsa fisting and putting instruments and food in a fetish kind of way into small girls pussies. Rather off-putting and not my kind of tea at all.
I will try to find some more "normal" material on the site and then give you my oppinion again. But currently it feels like I should have read more of the reviews before spending $30. :-(
As said elsewhere here I was quite shocked to see, that since my subscription is going to run out - my credit card is a new one as of June 2008 and I didn't see a possibility to update the information on their site - end of July, that I should pay >80% more (€29.95 instead of $24.95) per month since I'm located in Europe. So I wrote a mail to ALS Scan telling them that this was quite shocking to me.
Although I never received a reply I saw tonight that they went back to the old billing system :-).

Was wondering if anyone could give me a break down of how much of each content there is on ALS Scan? I'm not really a fan of fisting, large toys, using everyday objects like hotdogs, bananas, etc, Speculum use, Pussy gapin. Is that most of the content on here?
Some reviews make it sound like that's all every set is, while others make it out more as it's a smaller sub category of stuff available. So just wondering which is it?
I just took the tour of ALS Scan and loved some of the hi-res samples, to the point of downloading them. I noticed that the obtrusive watermarks of the olden days are no longer to be found on them. Does that hold true for all of the new pictures? What about the remastered old sets? If they still have watermarks are they now more discrete? This site somehow appeals to me because everything spells quality, even though I'm usually a "natural and hairy" type of guy. Pink Panther, I'll even put up with lollipops and baby oil if the logo is gone or small! :-)
I've said it before, I'll say it again. ALS Scan is my favorite porn site - and they just proved why again with the first vid up of the 2009 Caribbean trip - 35 minutes of non-stop, unedited crazy girl/girl action - so much that this vid couldn't even stay on a steaming Anita Pearl/Blue Angel pussy eating episode while it was following crazed Jana Foxy/Jordan cavorting with Hailey Young. I guess I've had my longest break from the ALS sites in years. I couldn't quite go through my full boycott of the ALS sites, until they combine them or at least give a double sign-up option to join both sites. I have cut back to one month a year on each site.
Also had problems with the payment processor on both sites. Attempting to sign up through their main payment processor which is ALS, through their site, got me two declines and two redirects to CCBill, their alternate biller. I don't know if I'm making an unusual request, but why not just put a link to join through CCBill? It seems the regular payment processor doesn't like my bank card.
Once beyond that, as always, no reason to re-review for now, the content is as good as you'll find on the internet. Especially the newer content with near 4000 high end pictures and 1920x1080 videos. The models, especially on ALS Angels, continue to be top-level for me. I had never seen Taylor Tilden until the sets she has on ALS Angels and really look forward to seeing more of her. I don't understand the remastering pecking order. I would like to see both Eve Angel and Angelina Crowe's content remastered, both seem to be very popular, but they both still have a lot of older content in lesser quality. I think in my complaint there, I'm just wondering if those can't be remastered higher? Going through the ALS Angels models, I can maybe find 5 I won't download content of.
ALS Scan is still as good as always. The quality is very high here as well though there are less models I'm interested in than on Angels.
Overall, the two sites have produced some of my favorite scenes. They have my favorite Meggan Malone scene, strip poker, as she masturbates in front of another female and two males. Eve Angel has many great videos on ALS Angels, my favorite being the assisted fisting from Nadia. When Eve speaks English, I would think she really means it since she supposedly doesn't like speaking English, but she tells Nadia about halfway through the scene, "You're so good at this" as she makes a mess all over Nadia's arm and the couch. Great video work as well, the camera shows just enough of Nadia to show her nipples swelling when Eve says it.
It's very believable porn and I do believe it's ALS greatest strength. On a last note, I would review both similar to my previous reviews. And as a P.S. anyone notice Zoli from Zoliboy hanging around in some of the sets? I found it interesting since Zoli and Alex of ALS seem to work magic with some of these models who rarely do anything extreme. I could be wrong, it may just be someone who looks like Zoli, but the photoshoot video of Eve Angel outdoors with Kylie fisting her, I'm almost positive that's Zoli walking around and helping with direction. Still highly recommended.
The site's having another models poll, this time from their early models (1996 - 2001). This brings backs a lot of memories of when I first learned of this site and became an instant fan, and they have only gotten better! I am sure anyone who was a member that far back can't wait to see who they remaster next.
Their older models are sometimes hit and miss (possibly because ALS was not so well known), but quite a few stand out; Michelle, April, Monica, Nicole...the list goes on. Most of them were unknowns then and stayed that way, a few went on to do movies, but none of them were "stars" when ALS shot them so it gave them a sort of freshness compared to now when models appear on dozens of sites at the same time.
Apparently some of them don't have any video, though I am not sure which ones, and the photos are scanned from prints, but there are still plenty of hot classics to be found.
(By the way, was anyone ever a member of Kathryn Lee's or Mia Tyler's individual member sites? None of this material has ever ended up on ALS's sites so it would be cool to see it eventually released.)
