I was curious to see how this site worked so I downloaded the free software - I was very reluctant to download software from a porno site but my virus-checker said it was OK and it seemed to be reviewed okay on TBP so I decided to chance it.
The download gives you a couple of sample strips - the guys only strip down to their underwear but it gives you a good idea of what it's like. I was very impressed with the quality of the guys and the image size - I remember software like this when I first got the net back in 1999 or so and the image was tiny!
Still, I found I had too many technical issues with the software which put me off downloading any paid content - after working great once, after a re-start the software appeared in my start menu but simply wouldn't open - if I clicked on it nothing happened. A techy (gay!) friend of mine tried but it simply wouldn't open so I ended up deleting it.
I also don't like the way you have to download software to get any info on prices etc - the site itself is very basic and doesn't tell you much, they just want you to download the software.
I haven't done a full review since I've only tried the preview stuff.
As it is a novel site but the software issues mean I think I'll stick to regular porno.
I've always been curious about joining a celebrity site, but surely the majority of the stuff won't be real? How many celebrities actually allow themselves to be caught naked?
I know we don't have many gay reviewers here, but does anyone think these types of site are worth it or is it just photoshopped fake pics?
I use this for many videos on their 7-day-download plan at $4.95 each. They have some fairly new releases for download, and for under $5 I can watch the movie for a week to see if I want to buy the full DVD later.
Their highest bitrate says 1mb but generally I find that the 1Mb is higher, at around 1.40Mb to 1.55Mb, and it's pretty good quality, although a 2Mb bitrate would put them over the top in their category (VOD).
I use DVD sites that have no DRM as well, but Hot Movies For Her has much more up-to-date movies, whereas other (no DRM) DVD sites mostly have DVDs that are very old and can be found in bargain bins anywhere.
The selection of studios and genres is huge, and I have found that for this type of PPV/VOD site the prices are the best on the internet.
Not really a gay porn site - it's clearly aimed at women as it includes straight sex. I'd move this to the "for women" category. May have some appeal for gay men of course but is not its primary aim.
I've kind of blown a lot of money on porn lately so I won't be splashing out on any new subscriptions for a while, but this site looks very interesting and different.
It's aimed seemingly equally at gay men and straight women and seems to be a "arty", tasteful sort of site, just solos of men masturbating.
It's rare to see this kind of sites. It certainly makes a change from amateur sites or sites which self-consciously try to be "dirty" and tacky.
It might all be a bit soft-focus and softcore for me, but I have added the site to my list of sites to give a try to - not a bad monthly price either.
If anyone joins I'd love to see a review and have recommended it for one on TBP.
