Here's a letter I just sent ccBill within 20 minutes of joining MPL Studios. PU Sysadmin, there isn't really a forum here to discuss account management systems, so I'm dropping this on the related website in the hope that both companies will notice. CCbill is generally MUCH better than the other account managers, but lately, I've had a lot of problems with them.
Here's the letter.
I’ve been happy to use ccBill and have been trusting you as a billing provider for years. Check my email address and you will see a history that is as long as your business has existed. But lately, service has gotten so poor that I am uncertain if joining a site that uses ccBill is worth it.
Tonight I joined MPL Studios for the first time. Not only did ccBill generate a RANDOM password and username, which I hate enough to cancel subscriptions over, but the lsgmodels login pop-up prevented me from toggling back and forth from the ccbill username page to the login. When I finally opened ccBill in a different browser and was able to get the insane user name and password info, the MPL Studios site would not let me in. I can only assume that I exceeded some kind of login attempt limit imposed by you.
Look, you guys are among the better account administrators out there, but I recently cancelled my subscription to met-art because I attempted to log in on several occasions and was unable to because YOUR login servers were down. I cancelled a subscription to Watch 4 Beauty because the random password was soo damn difficult to deal with, I gave up.
As a 20 year IT professional, I understand the importance of security, etc. You are going to tell me something like “the host web site required...” Bullcrap. As a leading service provider, you are in a position to explain to the host that random passwords cause them to lose customers. And a lockout after a certain number of attempts should redirect me to YOUR site to reset the account, not leave me mad enough to cancel the account immediately. In the end, any web based service must satisfy two needs to be successful. It must be convenient and it must be reliable. Random passwords make your service incredibly inconvenient and the inability of a user in good standing to log in to a site he/she paid for makes your service unreliable.
PLEASE FIX THESE ISSUES!!
And while you are at it, unlock my account on MPL Studios so I can use the account I JUST PAID FOR!
==========
Now, after I wrote this letter, I went ahead and called ccBaill. They told me that MPL Studios will not allow them to reset passwords that get locked out and that only they can do it. So now I'm sitting here witha paid subscription I cannot use. I will be sneding a letter to MPL Studios, as well, and I have already cancelled my brand new subscription because no website should subject thier customers to this kind of nonsense.
If you're a former member of any of the Diesel sites it might be worth checking your inbox. Their latest promo is offering Wow Girls and their new site Wow Porn together for $9.99.
It's been almost a year since the last review. I'm curious if someone can comment on what was (is?) one of the biggest complaints about the content on the site, namely the long videos saving the skin for the last few minutes. I keep thinking about giving the site another shot but really don't to wind up feeling like I wasted my money. Anyone been here recently?
except some few sexy models (megan avalon, angela salvagno) this website is a waste of time: video boring ( too much pumping clits stuff )and very bad filming, most ugly models i have ever seen(kat connors???dd). More, there is no download way for the video it's scandalous, more of that , the streaming is in average resolution Conclusion, i have solicited a refund i had never got!
I've been a member of Metart for many years, off and on. But I just realized you can set some options on how the site is displayed.
You can show measurements in metric or imperial.
Imperial is the British system of measurements: Feet and inches for length, pounds for weight.
Although they have taught the metric system in the United States for many years, I still have to translate metric to the British system, because I grew up with feet-inches and pounds, and metric measurements just aren't natural for me; I have to translate them to feet-inches and pounds to understand what they mean.
This is a simple thing, really. But it makes the Metart site easier to use.
Also, you can select the language the site is displayed:
Deutsch (which is German, I assume)
English
Espanol (Spanish)
Nederlands
Chinese? (I'm guessing, it's some kind of oriental language)
Japanese? (I'm guessing, it's some kind of oriental language)
? (Some other oriental language
So I guess that Metart truly is an international site, promoting softcore porn throughout the world.
I was almost tempted to sign up here today, they seem to have some top models photographed in stunning outdoor locations. Since Drooler's last review here is almost 5 years old I decided to check out TBP's review. Under minor negatives they write quote "I was unable to download any of the zip file. All gave me errors"
In my opinion that's a pretty damn big major negative for a photo orientated site and a complete deal breaker. Anyone been a member here recently and know if the site has working zip files?
I should also point out the price has increased from the one listed at PU/TBP. The join page states " 30 days membership 29.95 (USD/Euro) recurring monthly"
When I attempt to visit the site I get my local ISP's search engine telling me that www.moreystudio.com could not be found. That's true for the link in TBP as well.
Even though I am not currently a member there, I often check the home page at Femjoy to see if any of my favorite models have a new photoset or vid. Yesterday I saw something I've never seen before on the updates page at Femjoy--a model with a toy! The new girl Sandy E had a toy in her pussy. Not big or realistic, but still a toy. A trend I'd like to see continue, as long as they don't do it in every set.
$19.95 (recurring $19.95 monthly)
$24.95 (non recurring 1 month)
$39.95 for 90 days (recurring $19.95 monthly)
Browsing the tour the content here looks very enticing and I would love to have the confidence to join but all the previous negative feedback on this site along with their ambiguous terms and conditions re download policies just puts me off. Has anyone joined this site in recent months and got any encouraging positive feedback suggesting that they might have got their act together and stopped jerking around with paying customers yet?
Depending on where you look on the Metart site, you can find the current age of the model, and also the age of the model at the time of each photoshoot.
When you download a zip file of a photoshoot, you get a text file of the model's bio included. That text file bio lists the current age of the model, instead of her age at the time of the photoshoot.
It would be better for the downloaded text file included with each photoshoot to give the age of the model at the time when the photoshoot was shot, instead of her current age.
Membership fee out of line with the site contents.
Since this is a new site that just started a few months ago, and the site has only a small amount of content, they should really offer, until the site has grown a lot, a smaller subscription fee, for at least 6 months or more.
I know that the site operators want to cover expenses and all, but considering the relative lack of content versus competing sites, it's seems like a bad business decision to charge more for a monthly membership than mega-sites like Met-Art, MPL Studios, or Femjoy, which have years of back-logged content, gorgeous models, and a lower monthly price (about $20/month with PU discount).
This website caught my attention and I saw comments about regional pricing, but it looks like they no longer do regional pricing which is a positive step as it's $31.36 or £20.44.
Thought it best to post a comment to address the earlier comments left. The website looks pretty good so have definitely added to my watchlist for future membership.
If you click on a downloadable zip file for a picture set, it takes up to 1 minute to "find" the file and another minute before the actual download starts. (At least that's the case on my side). Also, during this search phase, the browser (FF 17 in my case) is basically frozen, you can still ATL TAB to other programs, but the internet connection is taking a nap.
So, if your download doesn't start right away, give it a little time.
I joined this week. The girls are beautiful. But the videos were dispointing. Most of them very grainy. I like softcore like MPL or met, but this was way to soft for my taste. On most of the videos only the last 20% was worth watching. I've canceled my membership.
Just saw Spencer's new review of this site and it's a shame it seems to have stopped updating - it's one of my favourite sites in terms of material. It's rarely much, if any, more explicit that Met Art but somehow it puts more atmosphere and context into the photos, and makes them more appealing/arousing.
Interestingly, a quick look at Girlfolio, which has a large overlap with this site - the same photographer and locations, and many of the same models, shows it is still updating. That bumps it up my list a bit...
Quality looks high but is this actively updating and are the dates on the preview page real? It looks like an update was posted nearly every day until late November and since then nothing.
How are the videos? 720p or even 1080p?
Not much PU activity in last years which worries me a bit.
I watch porn with my girlfriend, and this is her favorite site.
The things i can add from my experience:
They are adding new models, some ebony, some asian, all beautiful and that´s wonderfull because it adds some extra flavor.
The only thing that i don´t like is the audio on the movies. In a few of them you can hear people talking behind cameras, walking or even running on the set. That´s dissapointing because the overall quality it´s amazing.
*Edit* Just noticed ftvgirlsonline.com has a separate listing here on TBP/PU. This is the same site and the price is $29.95, not the $24.95 listed. Looks strange that the site isn't listed as owned by the same company as FTV. I'm pretty sure it's just a mobile/tablet version of the site.
I joined FTV through a promo ad on Twistys, I think it was Twistys. Instead of sending me to ftvgirls.com where the regular site is, it sent me to ftvgirlsonline.com. The content was all the same, but the site did seem faster and less clunky, but I don't know if this is like a FTV new version that they are testing out or if it's just their own clone of their site. I'm holding out hope that it's a new version and they are going to work more on the navigation and download issues.
Big mistake joining the site. The largest pic size that gives decent quality is 1200 pixels. Come on, nowadays at 1200s. Sad!
3000 or above the become grainy, blurred. It's like 1200s resized to 3000s. No resolution at all.
I've had subscriptions at X-Art twice. The women are almost all gorgeous (d'oh), although a number of my favorites from 2011 are no longer appearing. Of late the videos have gotten (to me) repetitive and tedious. Far less g/g than previously and a lot more b/g, where they have fallen into their own pattern for every scene. I do prefer their gentle approach to sex over most h/c (no spitting, choking, atm, 40-min bangs) but now it's pretty boring.
